Doffy's physicality couldn't match G4. Like all along he was fighting with his own body speed and strength and haki and none of that mattered to G4. He had to switch to plain DF ability using Awakening to stand a chance. His physical body couldn't even block a Kong gun properly.
Btw Luffy knew Snakeman in dressrosa as well. It's just the time limit to save the citizens gad him prioritise having to win the fight quickly so he resorted to a power form. Bound man was already faster than doffy.
See awakened Doffy from what I can tell is somewhat equal to G4. Not above him.
And going back to the original point, pica cannot be even close to awakened Doffy. It breaks the rules of the story.

Corrections :1. he didn't get help in order to beat Pica. He got help to reach Pica. By such logic Luffy for help from Shirahoshi and Fukaboshi in order to beat Hody right?
2. The Flashback cane after he defeated Pica not before
3. Many chapters =\= time passed
4. The whole point about him having Asura means he had stronger attacks
Those are as insignificant as Kaido sweating just at the sight of the Scabbards...

Luffy just decided to reserve it and use the strategy of wasting Cracker's stamina but since that didn't work, he decided to use Tankman to finish the fight. Sometimes it is just down to matchups , especially at the high tier level. So Luffy was definitely superior to Cracker (even in haki) but he may have not been able to defeat him because of walls of regenerating biscuits
I'm going by what you fanoboys are saying. Anyway Cracker had plot Armor when fighting Luffy for the very fact that Luffy did not use King Kong Gun. he never needed Nami's help to beat Cracker. That would have ended Cracker in one shot, just like Pica having plot armor against Zoro, not needing help against Pica when he could have ended Cracker in 1 shot.
