So Brago talks to Vincent and Vincent tells him that he sensed discrepant treatment among animators when it comes to dealing with Sanji..it wouldn't be a long shot to interpret that as negative bias for the character.
Grand Line Reviews also made a video about the matter where he gathered all the time Sanji's treatment, in WANO and EGG HEAD, in the anime was inaccurate and quite negative especially compared to his portrayal in the Canon counter part. He basically attributes it to fillers, and that you need to fill up that time for episode to be the right length.
Which, in my honest opinion, is irrelevant to the issues he raises about Sanji's treatment, he is blaming the issue to a factor that itself isn't a problem but how it is utilized to represent the idea / portrayal manga canon conveys . I mean I get that the video was meant to just cover the issue and address it without really siding with either ends of the online stir this has created. But I wonder what he'd say after he hears what Brago discussed with Vincent.
Hate is a strong word.. Negative bias may just be it, as sugessted by Brago of course.
Which sucks.. Coz you'd like accurate portrayals of charcters you like. Not an inaccurate unsubstantiated negative portrayal.
Feel sorry for anime only sanji bois
Edit CORRECTION: Now I know the full context so i want to correct something i got gravely wrong , Vincent reaffirmed that there is no negative bias in Toei.. So there us no HATE no BIAS with all due respect to Vincent's observation.
Thhis makes you wonder where does such treatment stem from... I doubt Oda like to tell thw directs to misconstrue portrayals of his charcters. Fillers can be utilized nuetrally give how the author wants to portray the charcters.. fillers as a consequence of lack of material isn't a problem.
