Role Madness Too Many Doctors (Game Thread)

Anyway because @Flower needs the help, I have a perfect solution to her plan's flaw, that being how we nominate a target.

My solution is KINGMAKER.

That's right. Every day, we nominate one person to choose who we all pile on tonight. If they die and flip town over the night, we lynch the King the day after, and nominate the next one. And so forth. Until we reach a point in the game where it's not tenable.
Lmfaoooo this is respectfully a hard no from me . Especially assuming that the player we would to nominate for Kingmaker is someone actually town read? Why would we punish that slot automatically every time just because they are off based about their reads? This is asking town to self destruct

Day 1 Votecount 1.2 New
Day 1 Vote Count 1.2

Ekkolojinx (2): AlwaysMind, Yo Tan Wah
Flower (2): MangoSepai, Flower
Ratchet (1): Ekkolojinx

------------------------
Day 1 will end: May 29th of 2025, 3PM EST (7pm GMT).
The player with the most votes will die at the end of the day.
If there is a tie, one will be eliminated at random.
When voting, please use the biggest font so i can see it. :)

Quote of the Day
"Healthy positivity means making space for both reality and hope".

your question about which player to pick is busywork, its just general poe, nothing too complex
Nope, you either don't understand nuance or spcial dynamics, or you're pretending you don't. My ammendment is the perfect antidote to that. But I wanted to see how much thought you'd actually put into it - alas the answer was not enough.

The choice for target is the single biggest problem here, because it requires the vast majority of players to buy in and stay bought in. If you don't have a good solution to it then you will not get the co-opwrarion you require, it is as simple as that. By outlining a comsequence for being wrong, you mitigate the single biggest problem any townie would have with a clear consensus being built - "what if the ones deciding are scum"

:chopoff:
Lmao, my reading isn't working today. Yeah you're right, this is on the nose lmao

In what fucking world is me who hates being mislynched offering a mislynch on myself poor emotional control, it‘s the complete opposite LMAO.
The fact you can't discuss it reasonably and need to go to the extreme of killing yourself to prove some sort of point. To anyone with some degree of emotional control, there would be absolutely no reason to go for any 1:1 trade or such silliness. If you want to pretend its some calculated and logical move on your part, you can try, but I think we both know it's not lol.

I assume we would be choosing the kingmaker out of the scummier slots
That way either they get lynched or they have to bus to live

Well, it's still flawed as there is no guarantee that people will comply. But I guess it's a step in the right direction.

And how do you suppose we decide on the Kingmaker
This actually doesn't matter - but what you want are people who have strong reads. In that respect, we already have several players who are apparently certain of the alignment of a couple other players, so they would excellent first candidates. This deters the "powerwolfing" aspect too.

Hate me... as long as you're alive to do it...

i dont rly care about the watcher plan, it's flower's and i know it's impractical / overcooking because lolwg

whats ur contention with this:
thats the one im going for

You can also split the player list into 3.

First 7 players if Doc target Player 1.
Second 7 players if Doc target Player 2.
Third 7 target Player 3.

If one of those players survives you can also be sure that in that specific third must be more Mafia.

That’s not going to work either. Because it’ll never be 100 percent agreed upon that said slot is scummy, and I can almost guarantee they would never bus in that situation if they have a brain cell among them for that exact reason.

Again, the whole plan is literally asking for us to self destruct in one way or another.

Like, here Ratchet proposes for everyone to pile on on the same target.
All while arguing that my plan which is even better than that Kingmaker shit would fail because people wouldn’t all follow and target a single player.
While proposing the same thing, but worse and that would allow scum to not only chain mislynches if they appoint a Kingmaker who they know would nominate the wrong target, but also more control of the narrative. Kingmaker is rarely Town sided since scums can always vote for a bad King.

Ratchet is scum trying to discourage the plan. Scums even have visiting roles that do nothing for this exact reason so they’re not outed in such a scenario, meaning the host even intended the game to be played like this. Surely not that hard to figure this out for the best player in the game.
