Last game I came to terms with myself that I can’t get an accurate read on you, you need to be opposed by someone who can hit harder if hit, people like Ultra, Flower, Poyser … otherwise you take the thread by the neck and no one will even notice, what happened last game makes it too scary to think it couldn’t happen again, Your slot will always be difficult to read, hence someone like flower is needed and if she gets killed while you are still alive and not 100% cleared then I’m more than willing to lynch you cuz honestly if you are scum with no “somewhat” decent opposition, game is pretty much over.
Ultra doesn't read me very well and Flower isn't great at it either. Neither is Poyser actually... though I know what you're saying. You need a check against my thread control and if all the checks die then there is value in confirming my alignment because at least then you can know whether to trust my reads or not. I guess it checks out, but feels a bit abstract in regards to what it means for *this game*.
Scum need to look like they are trying to catch scum.
Scum fabricate excuses to claim that they find someone suspicious. These excuses can be pinpointed using common sense.
Ratchet defies common sense by trying to distort a very clear thought process* from Ekko and disparages Ekko.
Scum try to look suspicious of someone that is in no danger of being lynched so they are uninvolved with the lynch of a townie.

Then he "paces" Ekko's reality, a subtle manipulation technique best understood as a form of ingratiation.
IOW he feigns agreeing with parts of Ekko's stance [or feigns understanding] to make us think they are on the same page or that his critique is balanced, even though he logically [misrepresents Ekko's actual preference for the 7-7-7 plan over Flower's]. AKA appeasing us and sweeping the core misrepresentation under the rug, as you might say.
Then he deviates the attention on something else [Ekko's supposed reactions to others] in a quick ninja move to get out from the attention on his misrepresentation of Ekko's preference here.
There you go. I can understand that didn't make a big deal out of what seemed at first as an innocent mistake on Ekko's intentions but I hope I have exposed my reasons clearly enough.
*If Ekko were to say his clear stance (by the way, he did) [e.g., "i never agreed with the watcher plan" and "the only flower plan i agreed with and still do was the 7-7-7"], that is a very relevant point that the mafia would [want to obscure by suggesting he was flip-flopping or confused] regardless of whether we say it or not.

I don't think a scum Fuji shuts down a scum Ekko here like he did earlier. Also the way he appealed to Flower by telling her she loses her "I can read Fuji" card felt townie too. Obviously if he hasn't done anything later in the game then this can change, but I think it's good enough to consider him not immediate PoE.
Interesting, so what would my gameplan here be?
