No he doesn't. There's never really been much of any precedent for Luffy to give a fight to Zoro, not no Saga End game Antagonist. Instead Zoro tapped out to Arlong, Luffy did it like he always does.

Can this really kill Kaido? Oden was boiled at + 700 degrees in oil, kaido is more resistant than oden (kaido must bathe with lava), end of the war kaido will be undefeated, but with all his team defeated, he takes enma and stabs him in the chest dying like the most powerful of all.

Well fire can top 1000 degrees and yet Akainu's magma is portrayed above that in the manga 🤔

Oda overpowered it basically beyond real physics

Remember that oden did not have a skin as resistant as kaido, it was just NORMAL, kaido is abnormal.
For me, both fire and lava is nothing for kaido, just like lightning, or ice.
