Not certain if Loki will join but it's not impossible since he gives me heavy Zoro and Franky vibes in a way. But if he joins I think Sanji and Zoro would obviously still be below him since they're not ready for that level yet. By the end of Elbaf they'll only be above the old legends, Loki is far above their paygrade.

Yup not sure why exactly (maybe it’s just his vibe) but feels very Franky like. Personally leaning strongly in favor of him joining. Like the character for 1 but he’s giving very strong SH vibes in a way neither Yamato or even Jinbe gave off. In agreement with you that he’s most likely stronger than those 2 but I don’t think he’s as strong as most people think as he feels likes a growing character to me and is only just 21 in human years so Zoro & Sanji’s peer. Reckon he’s weaker than Luffy & comparable to the old legends which won’t be too steep for Zoro & Sanji to surpass or at least match this arc with significant power ups

Would be fun to have him - we need some more interesting characters in the crew to reshape the dynamics.

But there is one thing about him - him being cast out and Luffy asking him to join out of blue do mirrors Brook's incident to some extent.
So, it's not entirely impossible for Oda to find ways to make him join if he does something about his size

I agree ^^. Seeing a lot of folks saying it’s unlikely he joins. Why do you think it’s negligible, Is it because of his perceived strength?
Yup those are pretty strong reasons in favor of him joining. Not to mention he’s pretty rare & unique even amongst the giants. His age also really sticks out to me. I mean what are the odds that him being Zoro & Sanji’s age is a coincidence?

One of the characteristic things about Loki in Norse mythology is his transformation ability which enabled him to shape-shift so Oda could very well draw a connection here and he could easily do so via a mythical Zoan.
Mythical Zoans all have some sort of special ability which are quite diverse as well. Yamato can control ice, Kaido can use fire, Marco had healing flames, Kiringham can control dreams so Loki’s abilities could be more transformative.

Yeah! A mythical zoan could solve size concerns and I do feel we will get an idea of oda intentions when we will see Loki's df.
