That may be true, but the only people stronger than King are BM and Kaido. If Zoro fights them, he won't be doing it alone, he'll be part of an entourage. So, in the end Sanji going one-on-one against a YC1 (if it happens), will be more impactful and exciting than watching Zoro fight as part of a powerful group.

The clash is “even”. -Usopp and Chopper who should be hiding reveal themselves along with Franky and take up arms against Queen, also saving Momo. It is a 3v1 encounter. -Marco the Phoenix is called a “fireball” by Perospero as they make their way to the action. -The Guardians and Musketeers call to Kaidou and try to pursues him to the rooftop but are intercepted by Jack. -Onigashima’s lore involves Kaido and the hunting of “demon kind”. -The reason for Zoro’s delay in attacking and joining the fight is revealed. He pulls back his sword to reveal the opening of his scarred eye. Chapter end. Break next week

Usually a spoiler with I would believe, the last part did kinda make it easily to call it fake.
Let really say Zoro have a scarred eye powerup(He can have it or not, everyone as his own opinion), but then Oda would not use that random at the begin of the fight. It is a powerup and such things usually get use in the mid of the fight when the villian pummeling the hero.
