Holy knights are not immortal

they are aging, they have regen but they have not unilimited life span

only the Gorosei can live for centuries (and likely Gunko)

I've not closed the door on some Holy Knights being made immortal over the centuries.

Sora would have to be immortal to be alive today, if he is alive at all.

I think we've barely scratched the surface on the Holy Knights and Celestial Dragons.

That's assuming Imu follows a set schedule on when someone is "due" immortality.

I don't it works that way. I also think this circumstances 300 years ago are likely to have been very different.

I'm not sure why you think it's CoA?
There's never been any indication of such in the manga.
It'd be like attributing Kaido's durability to CoA when it is mainly from his devil fruit ability or Sanji's exosekeleton to CoA.
The Lunarians are simply born to be nigh-indestructible. It's a racial trait not Haki.

Issue with a flame upgrade is that he just got one last arc so another fire upgrade so soon will kinda invalidate Ifrit.
But then again, Ifrit has a bit of a scientific element to it with it being blue and also being built off of the exo at it's base so if Sanji is gonna be evolving from "Warrior of Science" to "Warrior of Love" I guess an upgrade could be on the cards ^^

Personally with regards to the "impossible" that Sanji will do. My guess is that PoL will allow him to be able to hurt immortals.
