I'm not righteous. I strive to be ethical. This is the entire difference between liberals and me. I don't do morals, I do ethics.

The difference between me and you Ravager - and it is something that I hope you will never have to understand harshly - is that I'm not fighting the opposite side because I don't like them or the way they think.

I'm fighting them because their system threaten my very LIFE. And this awareness allows me to understand what others are living too.

I hope that one day, you will have the curiosity to let me explain to you what I mean by that without ignoring me. At your level of reactionnarism, you do not understand how lucky you are to have people like me, on the radical leftist side still willing to explain things to you calmly. It is simply what happens when you remove filters and allow a true marketplace of ideas. The old orthodoxy could be maintained only by active censorship across mainstream platforms. There is a reason political sections in forums and reddit are mostly left wing echo chambers, because censorship primarily goes mainly in one direction. Elon buying twitter (just one mainstream platform), and making twitter less censorious, caused an organic shift of the overton window that is inevitable in a free speech ecosystem.

You forgot to mention the algorithms that push extreme content overproportionally and that platforms are run by multinational corporations instead of small community driven platforms

The fanbase part would be used to talk about One Piece, theorize, all the fan stuff.. while the political part would be used to deconstruct One Piece and other political subjects while using the stories read on the forum to fuel the conversation and make political and popular education content.

I imagine the admin team as a strongly politicized and hardcore radical bunch of leftists, Communists, anarchists, Marxists and antifa (all fans of course) working together with no hierarchy (just like now, but better)

We could even push the forum to a point where it becomes a beacon of politicization in the fanbase, attracting more leftists, radicals and progressive fans while allowing anyone who want to stay to respect a certain sets of basic but important rules.

Damn... this would be good and the forum so much more positive without even being really punishing. But Worstgen has no ambition. There is nothing worthy of the worst generation here

Indeed. Hence why we need to talk about historical materialism instead. History is not freezed or linear, it's ever evolving. Which means that being fatalist about capitalism or thinking that progress will happen on its own are really not the best move to resolve social issues.

The thing is, the Worst Generation don't seem to embody a stateless socialism. Instead, they are anarchistic. I feel if the former is what Logiko was insinuating at, then it's a moot comparison. As of today, you could say that this forum is a hideout of lawless pirates.
