What are your predictions for the first post God Valley flashback chapter (whenever it drops)?
Will we see what Sanji and Zoro are up to in the upper realm?
The first chapter is gonna be with Luffy, Hajrudin and Loki, seing what Hajrudin is gonna decide after hearing the Flashback - or probably his decision is gonna be skipped and we gonna see Luffy, him and Loki arriving in a cool double pages later on.
Well, the Sanji kicking Kizaru's laser scene is out.
Surprisingly it doesn't look too bad, but it ain't what it could have been. Considering this is Toei we are talking about, this is more than we can ask for lmao
It's good but they could have done better, much better. Just consider the anti manner kick course on Thriller Bark, they could have done some effect like that to enhance the visualization of Sanji's speed and the kick power.

Dont get me wrong, I love that scene on the manga. I think the one in the anime looks dope.
BUT.
That's the LAST good Sanji thing in Egghead.
After that we have the letter apology thing, then Pirate Jesus IMMEDIATELY tells Sanji to take Vegapunk away and then LETS KIZARU KICK SANJI IN THE BACK AND KILL VEGAPUNK.
Absolutely clownfiesta protagonist completely murdering a good sanji moment against Kizaru.
Taking this into consideration, Egghead, an arc that actually starter skyrocketing Sanji little showings has been completely butchered in the anime with just the "final feat" actually been done decently.
Also let's not forget Sanji blocks the laser twice. The first time was butchered as well. LMAO.
This arc's adaptation feels like it was animated and written by a sanji hater who's still salty about Waban's intro.

My mistake.
We still have Sanji blitzing Venus.
Another chance for Toei to give more emphasis on the bite after that.

We need some Sanji fans to infiltrate Toei unironically. At least in WCI they made him shine there with a new team that genuinely respected and cared for Sanji too.
My favourite moment being that tragic flash of Sanji seeing all the Baratie staff dead after his fight with Luffy, when he sat on the log or whatever. Literally a blink and you'll miss it moment, happened in actual lightning flash but an absolutely tragic, beautiful moment. Extremely haunting and tone setting.

Regarding raid suit, Germa and exeskeleton topic.
Raid suit had more meaning than just be a powerup. I find no issues with Sanji wearing the Raid Suit
Him getting the Raid Suit was the culmination of the Germa story in WCI, and starting it's own subplot. It was very well executed.
1. Germa did cover for the strawhats and help them get away from WCI. Judge was implied to have seeds of change, especially after seeing his uncaring sons. Germa as a whole changed their outlook on Sanji.
So I assumed that, even though Sanji still didn't like Germa, some of the ice was slowly but surely breaking.
2. It kinda showed Sanji's will there, if he had to help his crew he would even take help from his estranged family. I liked that writing.
Something other than just a powerup should have come out of this, or the entire subplot was a waste of time.
This sub plot was alive for 3+ years (? don't remember, point is it's been there for a long time), and it just ended abruptly. Nothing came of this Germa sub plot, other than showing Sanji's stubbornness to stick to his personal code?
I was initially thinking that the suit was a symbolism for partial reconciliation with his family, irony of him realizing one of his two dreams through Germa etc. Then it got turned into a dilemma for Sanji's personality. And then, seemed like we're getting nothing out of it and he just destroyed it. So, why introduce Raid Suit? Why introduce Germa biology? Just to give him a powerup via exoskeleton? It buffed up his stats, but I was hoping for something more out of this than just a powerup.
Germa genes awakening was random and abrupt. There was no indication that the raid suit did anything to Sanji's biology or genes. The indication was that the suit uses tech to give him invisibility (through some form of camouflaging), gave him flight and increased speed/agility through the air pumping shoes etc. Nothing about it affecting genes or biology was hinted at.
Also because his backstory was about his mother sacrificing herself to ensure the gene modifications from Judge wouldn't happen.
Seems like a convenient excuse to get rid of the suit from LOda to me!
