Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Would be interesting but so far youre just speculating, also why would JB fight against Imu instead of with him agains the AK.
Obviously I am speculating.

Here's the thing....

Ancient kingdom was ruled by Davy Jones. It was oppressive rule.

But then Joyboy sailed to the seas to become the first pirate. He made allies as well.

IMu rallied other nations to fight against the oppressive rule of ancient kingdom.

Joyboy defeated Davy Jones..

However, decades of oppression by Davy Jones filled many others with hate towards ancient kingdom. And, downfall of Davy clan presented an opportunity for others to take the power themselves

This led to another war.... 20 nations vs Ancient kingdom which Joyboy lost in the end.

IMU established the World government - a new world order.

Xebec and Teach inherited that legacy of being the king of the world ...thus their dream.

Luffy inherited legacy of complete freedom of Joyboy....his desire

When did he have slaves?

As for the rest youre kind of reaching imo. In fullalead everyone everyone chilling and partying 24/7 for example.

Oda is very black and white when it comes to these things for example Imu literally as a move a Dominates others, his greatest fear is Nika who Liberates others. I wouldnt be surprised if Luffy could liberate people that were Domi Reversied for example.

I mean this is a centires old story of systemic oppression that people are waiting for a liberator from that we're talking about. Would be weird if BB black zetsus Imu and takes his spot. The pay off wont feels as impactful when hes defeated imo, atleast from a world POV.
He's referring to Teach's slaves in Hachinosu.

Anyway, If Imu is Elden Beast, then Teach is still the equivalent of Radagon, AKA a penultimate boss that might actually get folded alongside the final one in a fairly short time.

Teach did commit crimes though, it's just not as heinous as the noble's because he doesn't have the scope of their power yet.
  • Attacked and likely pillaged Drum Island
  • Pillaged a Banaro town then subsequently obliterated it
  • Stole a Marine battleship and killed literally everyone onboard for good measure (as a Warlord)
  • Started a free-for-all in ID level 6, in which they murder each other, allowing several nameless level 6 prisoners to escape for the outside world
  • Threatened the world population on TV like a terrorist and casually sent a massive tsunami towards Sabaody Archipelago
  • Approved of Necrophilia
  • Approved of the canonically worst criminals alive as his henchmen
  • Kidnapped a 15 year old girl
  • Publicly owned slaves in Hachinosu

We dont have enough data to know if the Gorosei arent admiral level though. I mean Saturn was weak but Id say a supreme blade user like Venus or Topman whose CoC was island wide, etc are that strong.
Let me put it this way, if Imu gave Akainu immortality/demonic powers or Domi reversi’d him, how strong would he be compared to the Gorosei?

Imo he’d obviously be stronger, which kind of implies his base his higher

Im not going to lie I think BB’s stocks are rising dramatically now that we’ve seen how weak the Holy Knights are

Even the Gorosei don’t seem to be above the admirals w/o regen
Yep
Immortality is what makes them so dangerouss
Give the same abilites to Blackbeard crew and they have nothing to envy to Gorosei and Holy Roppo
I'm pretty sure with immortality off Shiryu would murder someone like Saturn

Obviously I am speculating.

Nice theory lol.

Of course, but Akainu already has portrayal relative to the Gorosei, give him demonic powers and he’s above them.

Kind of obvious ngl, which means his base is stronger
Do this demonic buff thing with Greenbull but not Akainu please. I want to find out the strongest Admirals limit.

Honestly Kong would be perfect for the former FA that gets a buff from Imu. Dunno why you want it so much for the Admirals. Even now no other WG unit looks stronger.

Papa would be proud

I don't understand why people want their faves to be the final villain so bad, who tf cares if you are the Kaguya of the One Piece verse. Madara is the one who left the mark. Being impactful in the final saga, and/or being the penultimate villain is arguably more interesting.

Final villains usually have lame buffs that ruin the character anyway. I did not enjoy Hogyoku Aizen more than base Aizen, no one did.
