I admit I didn't read all chapters about Chainsaw Man - I only saw the anime - but you can't deny that Denji was seriously down bad lol. Also, Chainsaw Man isn't bad but Psycho Pass is simply on a whole other level, S1 of course.

Honestly, no one cares about these noble families; they all seem to have a power level slightly above that of a Yonko commander, but at this point in the game, where we only have monsters on screen, they won't be the highlight of anything.

Garling, who is supposedly the strongest of them, didn't even last a chapter against Xebec, let alone Shamrock and the other knights of the current era, who must all be useless too... fuck, I hate them.

Kingdom is a better story imo by a hair. Berserk sometimes tries too hard to be edgy for edginess sake. Outside of the golden age arc it's also a bit overrated, Golden Age really carried Berserk's reputation.

Now....having said all that, since manga is a visual medium, Berserk is the better product.

Na Berserk has many things going for it even outside the golden age (that set everything in motion)

Betserk conviction arc is what peak fiction looks like

Guts vs the Kushans was good too

Skull knight vs Femto was nice

same for Guts acquiring the Berserk armor and going wild with it

I think you just need to rewatch it honestly, it's definitely not as bad as you remember.

Yeah it can admittedly get repetitive with him constantly getting fucked over, and part 2 < part 1 for sure but I still don't mind part 2. I'm invested enough to see it through to it's end.
Sad downfall from part 1, though, part 1 was the best thing I've seen from a newer manga imo. Not counting stuff like AoT (if that does count) since I never saw it

Post timeskip one piece is very good but its stale thats why most people dont like it compared to the pre ts. Strawhats doesnt get any focus because Oda needs to do world building and has to focus on so many characters at the same time. We didnt had the same problem in pre ts. One piece strength and weakness is that it has too much story going on.
