Yeah, YYH is fun as hell. I hope they make a remake and keep the OG songs, those were good. I saw that a lot of the other old school animes like Ranma are getting remakes.

its not a bad ending. It was ok and it was consistent with themes i didnt like some char interractions but its fine overall.

GoT The problem with its ending was it wa rushed and nightwalkers were done bad overall. S7 was worse than S8 btw.

Bleach just has bad villains in general, Kubo spends half his time on symbolism and forgets he's got a story to write.

Doffy being outshined by Sabo and Fujitora in his own arc annoyed me at the time. Now I'm indifferent to it but it does cut down on the tension when you know there's powerful characters who can either go toe to toe with Doffy (Sabo) or outright crush him (Glassjaw).

I still rate AOT overall fucking high

like for Game of thrones. The 4th first seasons were so damn great I still think it changed the game even if it became lamer and lamer later down the line

The thing is, AOT isn't One Piece, or Naruto, or Bleach etc. where the journey is greater than the end goal. AOT the end goal is by far a bigger deal than the journey, almost nothing else matters. All plot points, all the hype scenes, characters etc. everything is for the end result. Once the ending is dogshit and you know those "mysteries" amount to nothing, there's not much to go back to and enjoy. AOT went from being the best anime had to offer, to not even worth a single rewatch.

If the One Piece is something stupid, I can still go back and rewatch cool One Piece scenes, because the journey is what made us fans of this series.

Healthy Doffy? Very arguable, Sabo's new to his fruit and even admitted fruitless Burgess would take some time to defeat. Against a faster, ranged opponent, I don't know how well Sabo's handling it.

Wrong they knew how characters would end up by the end of the series. They just couldnt do it in the time frame so they rushed it. Ngl they didnt desetve the hate they did because they couldnt get more seasons because actors were getting sick and the show was ending soon. So they decided to do the endings but rushed. It was terrible.
S7 is worse by a margin for me at least s8 is kindd of enjoyable. s7 on the other hand watching sansa arya baelish storyline

Sabo vs Burgess was a Zoro vs Lucci thing, he had to be occupied by someone so it's justified for him to not just whoop the main villain and/or his subordinates. Fact remains that, when they got serious, they neg diffed their opponents easily.
Sabo even permanently disfigured half of Burgess' head and had him in a near death state while Sabo himself was clean.
Also, Sabo could match Issho (although Issho was holding back).
Plus he's Dragon's RHM.
I'd bet on him beating Doffy's ass hard in Dressrosa, he was probably on King or Katakuri's level once he got the Mera and above when ever he masters/mastered the fruit

The Ozempic man isn't even writing anymore. Since his work on Beauty & the Beast and the 90s reboot of Twilight Zone, GRRM fell in love with script writing and film making. Writing science fiction and fantasy has always been an avenue to that.

Now that he's got HBO desperate to cash in on the few scraps of GoT goodwill, he'll never pump out another book.
