People who think that Pizzaro is Sanji’s opponent are simply fools.
Not even speaking about how trash and boring this guy is, literally Pica 2.0 but with different materials and a huge weakness.
Laffite threatened him to kill him if he keeps disrespecting BB. When did Sanji’s opponent ever got threatened by a Mid-Weak trio opponent (as some people think)? Never.
Pizzaro is out of the question.

Vasco D. Clown Shot…am not even gonna talk about this clown, everybody who wants him as Sanji opponent is a clown themselves.

Burgess is another stupid Sanji fight. Already got defeated and other members talk down on him.

Laffite is the obvious answer, based on feats and portrayal.
He was the only one to dodge Ace‘s fire fist and moves like Soru - so he got speed.
His wings give him the ability to fly, perfect for Sanji.
He was showed together with Zoro‘s opponent Shiryu after the TS and were talking down on Burgess.
Is doing behind the back missions and does important stuff, like getting to MJ to recommend BB as a Shichibukai, Hypnotize the Marine controll room to get them to MF and now is at the Red Line doing some stuff again.

Aokiji would be dope, but i doubt he is gonna stay with BB forever + he would be wayyyyyy stronger than Zoro’s opponent Shiryu.
Unless Zoro would fight Mihawk in that time, then i could see Sanji fighting Aokiji. But again, Aokiji isn’t a Bad guy.

I personally said, if Zoro stays on the roof, Sanji is gonna fight King, if Zoro comes down he would fight King.
But King was the much better opponent for Sanji than Queen fightingwise.

Zoro literally couldn’t do anything to King in the air, so King came down to give him a sword fight lol
The only time Zoro could do something against King mid air was in their finale clash, where King was stationary and flames off lmao
The fight ended up being cqc on the ground for most of the fight, so why even give King 2 Flying abilities when Zoro can’t handle it?
It‘s just stupid to give a character certain abilities, to than nerf them because Character X struggles with it.

Most arguments for Laffite is his position and his portrayal in which he clearly stands out.
Zoro’s and Sanji’s opponents always stand out and are portrayed differently than the rest.
Pizzaro doesn’t fit in.
He is very arrogant, who wanted to take BB‘s position and was mad that it’s always about BB and he wants this attention.
Sanji’s opponent is always one of the closest to the Captain and they have much respect for their Captain.
Which again Pizzaro isn’t.
And Laffite even threatened to kill him.
If Laffite is Robin‘s opponent it’s like Black Maria threatening to kill Queen…
Sanji’s opponent were never treated like that by a much weaker and lower in status crewmember.

I have no preference tbh, none of the BBPs really appeal to me.

As for an aerial battle for Sanji, that's what Sanji fans have been saying for God knows how long and I don't necessarily disagree, but Oda doesn't give a shit. Although I do think we're eventually gonna get that with Mars anyway.
