Trying to make Kizaru 'sympathetic' will never cease being one of the low lights of what easily made Egghead the worst post-timeskip arc.

Did he really try though? I've never understood this complaint. Most people couldn't even tell Kizaru was nerfed, it was pretty subtle tbh until the very end of the arc. Garp during Marineford was a lot more in your face. Heck Oda had to reveal Kizaru fed Luffy in an SBS.

Kizaru has always been a dude doing his job, why are we acting like he was Doflamingo prior to Egghead lol. Like sure he's a complete dick and content with serving the CDs interests, but even the worst of villains are allowed to have feelings for those close to them.

He wasn't shown to have CoC because CoC wasn't a thing yet officially. Enel has all the qualities of a conqueror. Now if he does not have it that'd be interesting.

This part makes me believe that its not that cut and dry as the Yami countering Imus powers entirely tbh. When Gunko was asked by Sommers if there was anything she was afraid of, she said Nika.

Nika is the real counter.

Yami imo can maybe stop the powers momentarily or like screw with them in some way, but not nullify. Otherwise Imu would be afraid of the Yami but hes not. He does want BB dead though if you remember Imus intro, alongside Shirahoshi (Poseidon) and Luffy.
