Why are some people coping with the fact that Rocks literally gets fodderised here?
He didn't do squat. Imu literally did not even feel Rocks attack combined with 5 other top tiers attacks. No Rocks did not look good. Domi Reversi literally is Imu's equivalent of Divine Departure/Thunder Bagua.
Rocks literally got 1 tapped by Imu here, who is body nerfed and not even at full power.

Rocks defeat against Imu here was no different to Kids defeat against Shanks.

I Never liked that Kaido was connected to Wano & Samurai theme bs.

I would‘ve loved Kaido being tied to the WG rather to these thrash samurais..

Oda is doing the same to Garling and the Gorosei btw. Hypetooling them before their arc. And he will guaranteed dehype Imu in favour of Joyboy when we get that flashback before he fights.

Current day Oda is obsessed with hype tooling his villains right before it's their time to fight.

Bro the strawhats who are already undermanned were underhanded and Big Mom Pirates got flipped upside down, they stole their lunch money and left.

This is when I knew Kaidou was doomed too. The introduction to the Yonkou was an underhanded SH crew without Zoro (Sanji too for the most part), Franky, Robin and Law, clowning on an entire Empire and leaving.

Then Oda expects me to be hype for another Yonkou crew the very next arc when he just got finished dehyping one in the previous arc? But this time with considerable more manpower and powerful heavy hitters on Luffy's side? Act 1 had me fooled, we got hit with reality on the roof.

The SH were running for most of the arc beside luffy fighting .
It not hard to get into a place and then run away .
Even then it took someone dying and help for many people for them to escape.
If you want to call that dehyping sure but that differnt form it not having any stakes.

Also what reality hit on the roof ?
That luffy would end up winning after getting Ko and some power up like usual lol.
