Why can't he be KotW without being PK? IMU is currently KotW without the One Piece treasure.

BB's combination of DFs will just become a danger nobody saw coming, which will allow BB to defeat & absorb IMU.

Meanwhile, Luffy's journey will get him the treasure, which will be used to stop BB.

Because the entire point of this series is to take down the upper echelon of the WG which requires The One Piece and the Ancient Weapons to do it.

So yes, becoming King of the World without Pirate King fundamentally makes zero sense since Teach is actively also trying to become Pirate King.

It's not bad, but at the end of the day he's still constantly being grouped with the other Yonkou instead of Roger and Garp. He's in a very awkward spot this entire flashback, he should have never been a part of this, he doesn't fit.

WB portrayal was doomed the moment it was revealed he was subordinate to Xebec in 957. What happened overall in this flashback was only inevitable judging by how this clown author treats subordinates. Pissleigh and Gabum also some others examples from this fb.

Meanwhile BM and Kaido survive the encounter against Domi prime Xebec (at least 100x stronger than rookie Xebec) without any scars. On top of being nowhere near their prime. Even Primebeard got low-diffed here

BB has several plans in motion, not just a single one. If he can get a better combo with three DFs than he would with the OP, he'd take that chance and defeat IMU. He did the same with the Shichibukai position, wanting to use Luffy as an offer, then pivoting to Ace instead.

The point of the series is to free people. Single individuals at first, then islands, then the whole world.
The OP can still be used against the new head of the WG if this one turns to be Eldritch Teach.
