As much as I like Xebec, Teach is so much more, far more calculating and shrewd as well as having a unique body and completely different abilities, if anyone has a chance against Imu, it's gonna be him.

Teach might have the same role in the finale as Big Mom in Wano, basically the secondary villain taken down by allies.

Teach will face Imu alongside Luffy, get domi reversi’d, and fight alongside Imu.

Gets defeated by some combination of Luffy’s allies, imo Koby, Sabo, Law, and Kid are all possibilities.

BB has several plans in motion, not just a single one. If he can get a better combo with three DFs than he would with the OP, he'd take that chance and defeat IMU. He did the same with the Shichibukai position, wanting to use Luffy as an offer, then pivoting to Ace instead.

The point of the series is to free people. Single individuals at first, then islands, then the whole world.
The OP can still be used against the new head of the WG if this one turns to be Eldritch Teach.

- Blackbeard has 1 plan, to take over the world.

- To take over the world, as we know it, requires the WG to be taken down.

- To take down the WG, requires one to obtain The One Piece.

- To obtain the One Piece, one must become Pirate King. The ancient weapons are presumably tied to this.

- To become Pirate King, one must reach Laugh Tale

- To reach Laugh Tale, one must claim all 4 Road Poneglyphs.

Teach actively took Law's RPs. Consider the fact that his father made it to the Room of Flowers and still did jack shit to Imu lol. This is my point, something needs to happen before Imu can even be fought. Cutting corners doesnt work, as shown by Rocks.
