I am glad Oda made Xebec being domi reversed. Its part of his character development which cant be ignored. Oda didnt give Xebec and devil fruit powers , so being domi reversed makes him somehow stand out from being another generic swordsman with Acoc .

Kong is unironically the best protagonist for a Marine spinoff.
All modern day Marine spinoffs would collide with the current storyline, introduce inconsistencies, retcons and plot holes, or would be flat out boring.
A spinoff set 50+ years ago would be far enough back in time that Oda can create a whole lot of new shit more freely.
