This is an insane statement, surely there's a middle ground here.

Claiming Prime Garp > Prime WB based on their GV performances is a wild thing to do when Garp himself claimed WB as the king of the seas. When WB was quite obviously portrayed as the uncontested strongest once Roger died.

Recency bias is unbelievably strong in this thread.

I just find it bizarre how Oda had to write Kaido and Luffy’s fight taking place in the sky, with Momonosuke carrying the island away from their clash — otherwise, the entire island would’ve been obliterated by their attacks. Yet here, Roger and Garp unleash their full power and nothing happens to the island… I’ve seen this kind of nonsense enough times already. When Kaido said that only Joy Boy could defeat him one day, he wasn’t joking — neither Roger nor Garp have anything like that.
I’m honestly sick of people saying that Garp and Roger are stronger than prime Kaido.

Attacks can be less destructive, but still overpower more destructive attacks in straight clashes.

I'm the one doing the middle ground, not you. If I based it off GV alone and ignored MF completely I would have it clear cut Garp > WB. Now, there's just no way I can place Garp below Roger or WB in any discussion.
