Many people said noone cares about the wss and swordsmen in OP.

Now it turns out a lot of the top tiers use swords and the strongest ones all use swords, Roger, Rocks.

yeah he isn't.

What I don't get is, if Oda had no intention for people to be swordsmen, why go out of his way to draw them with swords.
1. He never had to draw Shiki with swords,
2.He never had to draw Roger with a sword
3.He never had to draw Rocks with a sword
4.He never had to draw BM with a sword
5.He never had to draw Fuji with a sword

Mind you, he drew all those guys with swords after he introduced Mihawk as the strongest swords man in the world.

That would be the most illogical thing to do. I will make all these people fight with sword, however, they are not swordsmen. I will make Roger's most formidable and first rival Rocks, fight with a sword, I will make Roger fight with a sword, I will also make another of Roger's rivals, Shiki, fight with a sword. Even though you guys see them fighting with swords, they are not swordsmen.:laughmoji:

I will use a sword in the toughest fight I will ever have, where I will die if I don't fight at my best. I will just troll Rocks and the readers into thinking am a swordsman. I'm not gonna think too hard on the Xebec and Roger panels. Pirates are most commonly depicted with cutlass and sometimes pistols. Roger had both in an earlier panel because he's meant to be the most stereotypical pirate.

Shanks, however, was the rival of the WSS, and had many duels with him. That makes no sense if he weren't a swordsman.
