the thread is abt their roles as a combatant and sniper and zoro does it better than usopp

zoro leads the crew when luffy isnt there and even guides luffy himself ,
seriously , which manga have u been reading if u think usopp contributes more to the crew than zoro does lol.

this is not about contribution tbh, many characters in the verse could have taken Zoro's spot featwise. the question is whether the replacements personality would be beneficial to the crew.

if you wanna go by contribution...Usopp is the narrative reason for why the Grandfleet exist, and that all due to a gimmicky "useless" snipe lol

I would have thought Zoro's actual role was First Mate. Everyone in the crew is a combatant of some calibre.

Brook's job isn't so much easily replaceable, it's just not necessary to begin with.

Jinbei is number 1, the crew survived reserve mountain, knockup stream, fishman island and Garp without a helmsman. The idea that Jinbei is going to be turning the tables on this one is ridiculous.

I voted for Brook but when I think about it a musician in general is easy to replace, but Brook is so unique amongst musicians that I really don't think many people could replace him. His reach extends to celestial dragons, and entertainment is one of the most valuable commodities on long journeys.

Anyone can be a cook, they could literally take it in turns to cook, Nami cooked perfect fish on her first try following a recipe. Absolutely anyone could fill this role.

I'm tempted to put Nami up here too because as we found out, Bartolomews grandmother on a denden mushi allowed him to navigate the grand line, it can't be that difficult. But as with Brook, her specific abilities to predict the weather aren't really replaceable.
