Given the things he has on paper portrayal wise (Breaking out of Kuzan's ice while Cracker, Jozu and BBP never shown it, using Jozu as a stool, being awakened and a conqueror while King and Marco are neither), I would be comfortable putting him in YC1 class.

You have forgotten that Cracker exists. Big Mom sent Cracker knowing fully well that Luffy was strong enough to beat Doffy. Doffy must pay the Cracker tax.

There was a vacant spot and Marco with Whitebeard's crew was the best fit. That is before being squashed by Blackbeard, which demonstrated the difference.

Humiliating Big Mom is business as usual. Franky, Nico Robin, Usopp, all of them humiliated Meme.

Kaido was butthurt. He also said beating a Shichibukai isn't a big deal. And Mihawk was one of the Shichibukai at that point.

Every argument you can make "against" Doffy, you can make against Crocodile, and Crocodile has 2x Katakuri's bounty, and 600 mill more than Marco/King.

"Feat analysis" 90% of the time is a waste of time. What matters is portrayal: Doffy being 2nd highest bounty of OG Warlods, being Tsuru's rival, Oda making him "Joker" to fight alongside Kaido in Wano (prob putting him ~ Wano Law level).

I have Katakuri beating the brakes off of Crocodile though, so this doesn't help all that much, you're talking to the wrong person.

I have Doflamingo > Crocodile but the updated bounties just establishes how big of a threat most Warlords are. People were ranking them with tobbi roppo and vets, but there's a balance, they don't magically get to be ahead of the YC1 who are all given special status as fighters. Each of them well rounded enough but also given nigh invulnerability. Not as leaders, but their fighting capability stands at the top of high tiers. And Doffy is certainly no top tier.

Btw one thing Croc does have over Mingo is his df. He's a logia who has a one shot hax move in his arsenal.

Lmao you know what's funny about this is it's the exact same situation as Kizaru and Kaidou. Where Oda has Luffy immediately get humbled next arc and even name drops the opponent from the previous saga. Except in Kizaru's case Luffy wasn't even able to defeat him nor did Kizaru actually go all out.

Croc is #2 in a Yonko's crew and in fact a co-leader. There is no way Kata is "beating the brakes off him".

Warlords generally speaking get defeated earlier, and Oda hasn't yet finalized a lot of the newer Hakis, that's why YCs in the Yonko Saga seem better feat for feat.

But if you compare overall portrayal it's not even close.

I wish I was trolling. They were such cool characters too especially Starkk. What a waste. Going from Grimmjow, Nnoitra, and Ulquiorra only expecting even bigger and better and getting those lame karakura fights was a blow to the series it never recovered from.

Cracker's AP and defense were pretty impressive. His endurance was trash though which gives Doffy the edge IMO.
