Three, if roger was still alive oda wouldnt even give old Rayleigh and gaban half the attention they got, he only use them to gas roger since the later is dead and he cant directly have roger do anything like stop blackbeard and kizaru.

So he used ayleigh for that.

Its a lazy writing which also restrain the charaters for stupid reason but hey its what Oda choose.

Yeah the Captain does always get more to do than the subordinate

I’d argue Kuzan might be the only exception because he was already a very important character before he joined Blackbeard and is important outside of his affiliation with the crew

But outside of that all subordinates play second fiddle to their captains in plot relevance (while alive obviously)

Now that Roger’s dead Rayleigh and Gaban are allowed to stand on their own as characters

Xebec went into his own demise being fully aware that it could be his end, all that just to resque his family.
Teach on the other hand went to MF being cocky as hell, just to be humbled by 1HP WB and begging for his life:

Teach isn't as savage, he's just snarky, but overconfident and carless as WB highlighted unlike Xebec, who had it all planned out, but unfortunately was defeated by his own destiny.

Like Xebec was bending the world to his knees with sheer power, while Teach had to betray, steal and sneak around to get what he wants.

You just explained the issue with that statement, lol. Squares/Rectangles.

Despite not being at GV, Roja and WB respect Sengoku as a fighter, and place him right next to Garp, which presumably, Oda would as well.

Oda would never in a million years draw an Admiral like a complete clown the way he does BM, her design alone meant she was never gonna get clearance in the story to be an Admiral. Admiral is just synonym for top tier marine, while Yonkou is a top tier pirate.

Are there no other shots of Rocks? It seemed last chapter that Garp and Roger put holes through him, but doesn't seem like that now.

Reminds me of when we thought Katakuri took a chunk of Luffy's body with Mochi Drill, and it didn't even leave a scar.

Oda has an entire team that works on extra material

You know what else Oda doesn't write? The movies. You know what else we found out in the movies outside the manga? Shanks' full name and Celestial Dragon origin. Clearly some material is canon, specifically if Oda himself references it
