All the great pirates of the past are pretty much a copy of a copy, with a couple of exceptions, like Kaido.
The only way that Shanks is special is because he will get actual spotlight more than any other copy.
He is the ideal pirate of the show, even overshadowing Luffy in that regard.

Shanks got "lost" after Roger's death and instead of remain a pirate he joined the Holy Knights.
Were Shanks vs Mihawks duels before that? Before Roger's death? During this time as him as a Holy Knight? Or after that when he became a pirate again? And how the hell Whitebeard was spectating it?
Really cool to see how Loki develops as a character during his flashback. Current time one is too fucking shallow.

If Shanks is currently relative to his Father in his Prime. Then This confirms the Old Gen was WAYYYYYYYY stronger than the Current/Modern Generation. Shanks is at Bare Minimum the 5th Strongest figure in the Current Generation. Hes currently 3rd or 4th Strongest Character in the verse rn. 2nd for some people…..

You’re doing all that backflipping to try and defend an 80-year-old being attracted to somebody obviously hella young compared to himself, and a minor. Wdym Camie looks like Robin?
