Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

The chapter begins at the Heishin headquarters. We see Karyoten receiving news and analyzing the situation. Shin is beside her, seemingly waiting for her instructions on where to go.

Shin heads to the arena, and the soldiers shout "Shin, Shin!" He tells them, "Look behind me!" I expect he said the same thing in the Han arc, that all you have to do is take cover behind him. The report of Yotanwa's defeat arrives at the Heishin headquarters at that time...

Karyoten speaks with the messenger about Yotanwa's defeat, and he mentions that the reason is that he is one of the skilled archers. Then he relays Moutin's words: "I'm not the type to lead the charge, so the skilled archer will often move between the arenas and target the senior commanders." Moutin read it correctly.

Seikaun speaks with one of the commanders and tells him that the arrows look good the more he looks at them. He observes that Tan and Jin are hitting their targets...

Before continuing towards Shin, Sekaun tells the soldier to wait, then pulls out his bow. "There's no arrow, just a phantom," he says to himself. "Are you there, Soojin? It wasn't an ordinary arrow. Soojin is Tan's father, and Jin is one of the Ten Arrows, of course."

The phantom arrow hits Jin's neck, and he falls. "Tan, my brother? What happened? Another arrow in Tan's head!"

Jin sweats profusely and says, "An arrow that doesn't exist... I heard from my father before that even he can't use it. Only the bow can use it... (a phantom word, you all know what it is)..." Sekaun

Sekaun talks about them and says they are talented. "Have you entered this realm that allows you to sense real results?" Apparently, he means sensing the phantom arrow; not everyone can sense it. "Your spirits seem strong... but if you're unlucky, you'll die here..."

The soldiers tell Sikaun that the Zhao army was hit by these two arrows, but he says, "I taught them a lesson that might shake their skills now." (He means the phantom arrow, like the one that taught them about the different ranks, and "I can hit you too, and so on.")

Sikaun talks to himself and says, "Rishin... Riboku told me he's the most important military commander in the enemy ranks. The fact that he rose from slavery to the rank of general means he's been through a lot... But I'm sorry, with one hit, all of that will be over..." Suddenly...

A phantom arrow pierces Sikaun's head, and the soldiers ask, "Sikaun, what happened to you?" Jin is happy about being hit and says, "I felt him being hit!" Tan is happy and says, "You did it, elder brother

What are we on now ?!
:Ou_Lol:

"Basically, like an Indian movie... Sekaon visualized shooting an arrow at Jin and Tan. They fell and trembled because they felt the impact, but it wasn't real. Then, when he aimed at Shin, a phantom arrow suddenly appeared next to his eye—it was Jin returning the favor with an illusion of his own 😂

@ZenZu see this. The manga industry is cooked lmao

I feel like I am surrounded by goldfish memory afflicted sassenachs that forget that this is a manga that has characters perceive and react to spiritual auras and ghosts. We have even flat out seen the concept of ki explicitly name dropped.
I have no problem with it being both. Lol. Kingdom has always been one part wars/battles/politics, one part philosophy/ideology and one part spiritualism.

Yet for some strange reason, some people seem to have completely focused on the political part to the point that when Hara returns to focus on the spiritualism aspect that has always been prevalent in his manga, people start losing their minds regarding a world where individuals possess auras that physically affect other people (since Chapter 10 no less).

A world where people see and interact with spirits.

In addition to all these panels, Ei Sei in Chapter 426 and 427 talks of the light that resides in all of humanity.

So we can also add every time these “lights of humanity” appear as well.
A world where individuals can manipulate their own life force to achieve practically superhuman feats.

Along with literally every time that Kyoukai uses the Shiyuu Priestess Dance onscreen. Lol.
Yet despite all this, we somehow have folks complaining about a major aspect of the manga that has been there since the beginning of the series. :kaidowhat:

Utterly ridiculous. :rolaugh:
Yeah, this wasn't what I was expecting from an archer dual but this is nowhere near a jumping the shark moment for this manga.
