Wait i remember that there is no confirmation the number 13 being the total of 13 Holy Knight. but based on Viz last chapter, the mark that were given by "God" or Imu was the Depths Covenant and Abyssal Covenant. Those two mark were reserved for 13 choosen individuals.
If Gorosei were part of 13 individuals, then we gon had 8 Holy Knight which is pretty much All the presumably Holy Knight on GV which are :

For Reminder only 7 got confirmed as Holy Knight at GV.
1. Gargling
2. Sommers
3. Maffey
4. Beautiful Lady with Long Sword? and Armor like Gargling
5. The Prince Ghibli looking ahh dude / Gas mask with number 46 ( 50/50 since they are the only one missing from the intro panel )
6. The ManMayer Riffle Girl
7. The Cool Looking Dude with Scythe and Deer Skull
8. The Ogre looking dude (possibly the transformation of one of the number 5).

we know that Gunko's mark at GV is like Harald so she is not the Holy Knight, i believe the number 5 that i assumed, one of them probably like Gunko especially the Prince Ghibli.
But if The Gorosei are not concluded, then we still had 4 people missing. not including current holy knight like Kllingham and Gunko of course since i want to count it 13 from GV especially we got the 13 number confirmation after GV.

Edit : i forgot to include this, when we see Garling with Harald his title was Commander of Holy Knight, but when we see him at Mjosgard executions he was Supreme Commander of Holy Knight while Shamrock is the Commander of Holy Knight. So at that time there is Supreme Commander above Garling.....

So they are all important

the golden boy, the nice guy, Roger heir, Lugfy goal etc will be above his evil counterpart. Even if it’s just by a hair or something. Saint Shanks will prevail

now between Garling and Shamrock

i do feel Garling is more important story wise and has an higher purpose

If Garling had stayed the captain of the HK the choice would have been harder

But Oda chose to focus on Garling a lot.

He was made the champs of GV, the one who monitored Harald but more importantly he chose to make Garling the new Gorosei. To ascend to a new position of power.

‘Making Garling the new Gorosei means Oda chose him to be one of the main antagonist of the show end game

While I don’t think Shamrock will have the same importance

Shamrock will be liberated. Their mom wanted both to get rescued. It‘s why Shamrock vs Luffy feels almost set in stone for me. It’s a way to have him fight Shanks, but also Luffy needs to free him from Imu‘s control. Garling feels irredeemable at this point, but there’s hope those two brothers can reconcile.

Garling is a Teach Victim but I'm curious to see how Oda handles Shamrock going forward tbh.
Especially since he seems like he'll be Loki's fight at some point. Think it'd be dope if Teach snatches him up somehow but not sure how realistic that is tbh. Being associated with the Holy Bums is not good for his prospects and I doubt he becomes a Gorosei so will be interesting to see who Oda writes him going forward. Though I guess Oda could give him the same seal as the Gorosei to make a distinction between him and the rest of the Holy Roppo even if he ranks lower than the Gorosei

I think Imu ordered Harald to kill Loki but Harold refused breaking the contract with him and Imu taking away regeneration powers etc.

Loki likely killed Harold who was being transformed by Imu and that's what the giants seen and why they think he killed his Dad.

You know Oda is going to have at least one redeeming moment for Harold and him dying refusing to kill his children will be it. The one order from the world government he wouldn't agree to do.

On Harald's death a simple explanation for it is that Imu killed him for defying him.
We've seen that Imu is able to kill his contractors remotely via Saturn so maybe he's also able to give them grief or force them self-arm in which case I can defo see Harald asking Loki to kill him to end his misery even if he was gonna die anyways.

That or it could be that Loki subconsciously tapped into whatever it is that Gaban taught them in the underworld whilst fighting Harald and was able to kill him using that method but didn't realize how exactly he did it.

Know folks are gassed about Loki killing a amped up Harald but there is most likely going to be important context involved like Harald letting his guard down or something coz I don't know what to tell u if you acutally think a Loki that is still growing killed Xebec's equal on steroids 💀

Honestly I figured Saturn died because Imu revoked the seal and its powers which led Saturn to age so rapidly to his true age that that’s what killed him.

That's prolly what happened but it's make sense if Imu has some sorta hold over his contractors.
I mean, he's able to take over Gunko and Saturn for example so has control over their bodies so him being able to snuff them out with the snap of a finger or cause them harm seems feasible.

Luffy Nikafying Shamrock to free himwould make sense from how powers have been presented. Maybe Dragon witnessing the freeing of Shamrock would serve as resolving Dragon’s failure/guilt.
