Geez, some people seriously overestimating the worth of some visa workers. Yes they save companies money and are an easy pool for labor but that is about it.

Do you think that America is only as wealthy as it is, not because of our actual policies or values, but rather due to some mystical value inherent to (white) Americans?

I'm not sure what your point is

I never said a shit about white people or that even whites ought fill the vacuum in the wake of an H1B ban and visa revocation.

Of course the positions would be filled by Americans so it would be a mix of white American, blacks, hispanics and other minority groups here

I also never said America would become "wealthier" if H1B was banned (although it would be beneficial economically for the common American as a flood of new positions would open for STEM work)

We set policies that are good for business and businesses continue to invest in America.

if we started making drastic actions like deporting thousands of engineers, yes companies wouldn’t automatically make a complete exit from the states, but they would look towards investing elsewhere.

My guy, you understimate how simply things can get sold out. Multibillion dollars companies often build factories for just one contract and then sell everything once the contract is expired. Beretta used to have a factory in Brazil.

Whoever makes the best quality for the lowest price wins the market. Saving costs on labour means companies can a sell their goods for lower prices too.
