I think a lot of people are just saying the USA isn't saving venezuela, they're pillaging it and thinly using "we got the commies and the people are cheering" to pretend the plans aren't the same. No democracy, because it might not be a USA installed guy. They'll still be arresting dissenters and corrupt af, because the USA doesn't care about fixing evil socialism, they care about making the nondemocratic dictator of venezuela someone who will give US corporations oil this time.

The USA has no incentive to stop whoever they install from acting like every other corrupt grifting dictator. Again, all i see is conservatives insisting we pretend venezuelans are saved because commies bad. I could care less about commies bad, because if thats all you've got for why this is good for the people you clearly know that the next dictator won't make things better, he will just say "commies bad" and get easy cheers worldwide.
