Capitals can be owned, accessed or aquired.
I own a certain economic capital that allows me to survive and I aquired/got access to different types social and cultural capitals during my life that are giving me a certain edge comparing to other people.
This is where there is a limit in sociology, after that, we need to look at marxism and in this case, while I benefit from the exploitation of other (like we all do) I do not own the means of my own production (which there is none).

Most of them became accessible through my social background. For exemple, my family has a strong connection toward music, so I organically aquired some cultural knowledge that could potentially benefit me. Something that is not accessible for everyone. I come from a stable middle class background too, so again, I got access to more ressources thanmany people from the working class.
My disability changed that trajectory and my material conditions. Added an economic, physical, mental and social weight on me and gradually reduced my ability to reproduce my capitals through work and social positions. Which impacted my economical independance and threw me slowly toward precarity.
