For some reason Admiral fans are obsessed with pretending like the Admirals are all masterfully written, three dimensional characters that have some of the best character writing in all of Shonen. Even Zoro fans aren’t that shameless
We know jack shit about a good chunk of them which is why it's weird to me. Sakazuki has nothing that's really unique about him besides him seeming to hate pirates more than the typical Marine, and while we have backstories for Issho and Aramaki, they aren't enough for me to put them above an A tier tops.
Kizaru and Kuzan are the ones we know the most about and even they're not THAT great. Kizaru was cool until Egghead where Oda weirdly tried to write him as some type of sympathetic underdog who was forced to kill his best friend/uncle figure even though we've seen him nonchalantly ruin hundreds of families by protecting and supporting the CDs (he even raged because he was held up by Rayleigh and Kuma and the Straw Hats were able to be teleported away).
Kuzan is actually a pretty good character and I do look forward to seeing more of him in the future, but I don't see a reason to put him above an A tier, either. I just don't get why Admiral fans are so in love with them and will even go out of their way to mock Yonko fans by claiming that the Admirals are so much deeper than the Yonko. What even makes someone like Akainu more deep than Kaido? The dude is likely just going to get a backstory about pirates bringing his entire home town to ruin and him resenting them for that, which really isn't different from Arlong and Hody Jones despising humans and being racist/speciest towards them for various things like Fisher Tiger's death.
