RogersBase is a moron. Dude only recently came around to believing Sanji will have CoC.

Power of Love is a thing. It was a thing before we understood how Haki worked. It's been explicitly acknowledged in SBS. Otohime said the words. Vegapunk said the words and Sanji destroyed a laser beam shortly after. Gaban's words can be interpreted as it being the reason for why certain hybrid species exist.

Well I didn't knew this guy, but from what I have seen he had connections with one piece live action writers.

The fact that he "recently" changed idea is something to look for it maybe. I think it was worth checking it. Of course you can't absolutely believe what he said but, again, he had some ties.

Seems like I found something interesting. Maybe someone already watch this guy, but actually he got ties with the writers of One Piece live action from what I've seen. Well this is his review of chapter 1152, the chapter where Gyaban has that talk with Zoro / Sanji about conqeuror's haki.

If you click on the video it will bring you directly at 25:20 minutes in and this section ends up at 32:52 minutes.

At 29:10 minutes he talk about this "secret".

He speak about something he knows about Sanji and Zoro and then he clearly says Sanji has conqueror haki. By saying Sanji has it I guess the secret thing is something different. What do you think about it? This guy had connections, he says he knows something directly from the "source". He never speak of "power of love", this cement my idea that it is literally nothing.

What do you think? Could it be that the rivalry between Sanji and Zoro become more serious finally? Is it the "long awaited" Sanji vs Zoro? Or something more?

More serious because of what? They’re crewmates at the end of the day. Are y’all expecting them to have daily duels like Shanks and Mihawk or something?

Domi Sanji vs Zoro is something that my fellow Sanji fans want (and sadly I can actually see it happening) but what would that have to do with their rivalry

It’s essentially Sanji who’s been turned into a zombie vs a Zoro that clearly doesn’t want to kill him

You’re the only one I see that still spells it that way and it always stands out to me

I spell that way because even people from Elpbaph call him "Ya-san" because his name in katakana is スコッパー (Sukoppa)・ギャバン(Gyaban). The two katakana together "ギャ" spells "Gya", so calling him Gyaban is more "correct". That's where the "Ya-san" comes from. That's it, I like it more than Gaban, which is also fine of course.

More serious I mean more like they talk about it, in some way. Not reduced to "gags", but real discussion about each other strength. Something like if Sanji watch Zoro using conqueror's haki (or some new powerful technique), he could have yell out that he doesn't want to be behind him no more (it could also be inner thoughts). Of course also the reverse, so Zoro having this kind of thougths.

But they already do that in some form, no? Like when Luffy said Sanji’s worth 1000 men and Zoro jokingly stated that he’s worth 2000

I really don’t think it needs to go beyond that in terms of relevance in the story. If anything I think it would get old pretty fast if 2 crewmates were constantly worried about which one is stronger than the other

When people talk about interactions between the crew they’re moreso referring to the lack of downtime and discussions the crew has. Whether it’s meaningful or about absolutely nothing

Like between Wano and Egghead people enjoyed that because we got nearly an entire chapter of the Strawhats just chilling and relaxing

Zoro vs Sanji and their “rivalry” being a legitimate plot point isn’t really in the same category

There’s a reason why Gaban claiming he was the 2nd strongest member of the Roger Pirates was funny and well received. It was out of left field and it isn’t something Gaban brings up very often. You’re advocating for the opposite between Zoro and Sanji

Essentially just more scenes of them being jealous of one another or being self conscious about falling behind. I think if Oda wrote it the way you wanted their dynamic would only get worse

Given gunko is tied to Brook and killingham has it the weekly generic fodder villain it alsonfit that Sanji scuffles with the second most plot important hk

Dori brogi is a clear team fight imo
Sanji seperating means the opposite as of now

Oda has pretty clearly telegraphed Sanji and Zoro will fight Sommers and Killingham.

They will awaken/gain control of CoC against less comp while Luffy and Loki face Imu and his DR giants.

Sanji will likely drop off Gaban and take off. It's likely he stops Sommers shortly after he puts himself back together and tries to harm the crew he's captured.

Yeah but Sanji regularly (not always but regularly) runs into women first because oda likes redoing that plot line over and over.
