Speculations Did Shanks beat Loki in a clean 1 vs 1?

@sanjikun Luffy isn't renaming every single technique upon gaining new forms of Haki, but some get new names as they upgrade, especially the stronger or more signature ones.

• Jet Gatling + Armament Haki = Hawk Gatling (not to be confused with Red Hawk, which is the fire version)
• Elephant Gun + penetration Haki = Roc Gun (not to be confused with Red Roc, the fire based version)
• King Gong Gun + penetration Haki + ACoC = Supreme Kong Gun

Just by virtue of the meaning convention:

• King Kong Gun (大猿王銃, Kingu Kongu Gan, literally meaning "Great Monkey King Gun")
  大 (dai) – big, great, grand
  
  
• Over Kong Gun (覇猿王銃, Ōbā Kongu Gan, literally meaning "Supreme Monkey King Gun")
  覇 (ha) – supremacy, domination, hegemony, conquest

Supreme as in "supreme King's Haki". We do agree that Supreme is > Great, right? Not to mention Luffy's Supreme Kong Gun looks like an exact replica of the KKG in terms of size, just with additional ACoC flowing out of it. By no means is the Supreme Kong Gun just a "middle ground" between an ordinary Kong Gun and a King Kong Gun.

Nope. He was still using Elephant Gun after ACoA.

Again, against Kaido he was using some hybrid moves. A bit smaller, but faster than his usual moves.

That assumes Luffy used ACoA against Page One, which I highly doubt given Page One took that Elephant Gun better than Kaido took Red Roc. And again, isn't "Supreme" Kong Gun an upgrade to "Great" Kong Gun by virtue of naming convention, especially since the size is identical?

If you assume that Luffy's "upgraded" or "hybrid" versions are superior to his base ones (Roc Gun > Elephant Gun), why would the same not be true for Supreme vs Great Kong Gun?

He also used Elephant Gun for Kaido in the rooftop. No reason to turn off ACoA.

And what would have been the KKG's trade off when amped by ACoA + ACoC as compared to a weaker Supreme Kong Gun, especially given Kaido was in his big target Dragon form? Are you saying an ACoC KKG would be at risk missing while the 10% smaller Supreme Kong Gun would not?

Supreme Kong Gun is faster than KKG. Roc Gun is faster than EG.

I find funny that this thing seems to be said for Shanks when the manga makes clearly they were wrong. Shanks himself in fact understood they were wrong.

Shanks being destiny child could be related to him being the only native GV survivor they knew of, and him being a CD who grew up entirely out of Mariejois.
