Controversial If you knew for a fact it would take 2000 days to see Zoro fight Mihawk would you still be reading by then?

I think Smoker and Issho (or Aramaki since he has a black blade) will fight and lose to Crocodile and Mihawk, but I can see Sengoku going up against Cross Guild. Mostly because it parallels Garp fighting the BBP, and there's the whole thing about how a new era can't properly begin with the old legends still hanging around.
I wouldn't say Ray took a L when he arguably looked better than Kizaru, since he at least had some valid excuses for not winning the fight.
Also, I get that Aramaki was already wifi diffed by Shanks, but think about it. Oda having Mihawk flex on the only other character to have a black blade (that is alive) would be pretty great hype for him, imo.
Smoker is weird since before it seemed like he was going to be the new Garp but the more and more Koby gets focus it seems like Koby will be the new Garp while Smoker doesn't get nearly as much focus. Hopefully Smoker still ends up as a Sengoku parallel or something like that, but, who knows..

Tell me how a main character spot and impact and a character moment in the next arc constitutes being forgotten and replaced in a saga with virtually no marine roles sans Fujitora and then Drake undercover.
Smoker remains the only Marine Luffy ever consciously teamed up with prior to Egghead amongst unique qualities of his character.
All people who shit on him should be melting at Koby's Egghead antics rather than vigorously masturbating to the chapter 1121 panel that isn't remotely revaltory.
