Tbh this arc being a continuation of egghead is the best reason to bring the gorosei in. Now that the straw hats can counter regen and it’s clear the HKs aren’t shit bringing in the leaders of the knight order feel like the next logical step since their powers were already introduced last arc.

So this arc genuinely feels like the perfect time to resolve the last two arcs.

I strongly disagree lol. I know this is something you wanted since Egghead but last arc was clearly just a showcase to show how overwhelmed everyone was with the 5 of them at their back and required a deus ex machina, literally, to get us off the island safely. Dealing with Gorosei now via one pirate crew and kingdom almost entirely defeats the purpose of setting up a final war against the WG. They are essential that process and just having Loki be the answer almost makes it seem like finding One Piece is pointless then.

What i was more upset by was not actually resolving Kizaru in any justifiable way. I dont think people are ready for Akainu, Shanks and Blackbeard to share the same arc, because at this rate this essentially what is happening when nothing beyond Kaido gets resolved in 150 chapters outside of backstory

I was hoping his trident was a Supreme grade weapon and that he would use his ability to draw out fear by creating a version of Kuina that would sign his own death warrant.

We've not seen Zoro fight angry. Irritated and annoyed, yes, but never angry.

Sommers could do that by being a piece of shit, but I would prefer it be something more personal and innate to Zoro, which is what Killingham's DF specialises in.
