With the God of war lore being explored and Lokis devil fruit being a dragon, many Zoro fans or just readers alike have decided to theorize the that Lokis past ancestor was the dragon Ryuma slayed in the capital which I honestly don’t blame them for that it would explain onigahsimas skull for example however……
there are too many problems and fallacy with this theory
For one the timelines would be thousand of years off.
We know that the God of war was definitely a being that existed in the first world which is tens of thousands of years long ago
This perfectly matches with what Loki said about his mythology/religion as we do know that him and hajrudin worship or follow a deity of war (most likely their own ancestor like rocks and Davy jones relationship )
Next we have to go find Ryumas timeline which was after the void century confirmed that he was buried in new wano (a time period before the void century as old wano was during void century times)
Now even if Ryuma was indeed from the void century it still would not line up.
And ontop of that Imu not knowing where niddhog was kinda tells us that even to Imu niddhog was an ancient legend.
Lastly the dragon ryuma slayed could’ve been a high ranking celestial dragon with a dragon devil fruit we already know the world government was in access of kaidos devil fruit and there are multiple dragon fruits out there in the world. Ryuma slaying a dragon holy knight or immortal that imu or the wg tried to send to take over wano would be a Very impressive feat. Worthy of calling him god of the blade still.
This could all be debunked for all I know but given the evidence Ryuma slaying Lokis last devil fruit user seems very unlikely to even impossible.
