When do you think we’ll fight the marines?
There’s a lot of debate on who is the true final villain between Blackbeard and Imu but when will they fight the marines

When it comes to power levels the main problem is that the admirals are too close in strength. In no way are the admirals Sakazuki’s all star equivalent. Believing Zoro or Sanji will fight admirals comparable to Luffy’s opponent Akainu is just beyond stupid. Best case scenario Luffy’s opponents still body theirs in a 1v2
There are only 2 possible scenarios

1. Imu powers up Sakazuki making him either a god knight or even a gorosei to fight Luffy while Zoro and Sanji fight admirals

2. Luffy fights Sakazuki while Zoro and Sanji don’t actually fight the admirals but other subordinates that are significantly weaker. Just like
  • Borsalino/kizaru + Lucci
  • Kaido + king
  • Doflamingo + pica
  • Etc

If it’s option 1 and Sakazuki gets a massive boost to be stronger than the admiral I can see him fighting Luffy between the Blackbeard and Imu fights. Zoro fighting an admiral between his fights with Shiryu and Nusjuro

If option 2 and Sakazuki stays the same strength it’d probably be before both Blackbeard and Imu. Blackbeard definitely growing stronger than him likely means he’ll be faced afterwards. Tho tbf Luffy does at times fight weaker opponents compared to the previous arc so nothing is impossible

Why would Akainu need a boost if Zoro and Sanji fight an admiral?
What's the correlation between these 2 things?
I explained

Soon, soon. But current Luffy in gear 5 is so retarded that I'm starting to want Akainu to fight someone else lol.:usoprice:
I will stick to my first theory i had after watching Marineford, Akainu vs Dragon.:finally:

Akainu will be the last fight as the final villain, that's why he has the strongest underlings and the strongest army in the world

What a redditor

Zoro and Sanji will be top tier like Goofy EoS, you have to get your dumb head out of your ass believing some pattern of previous fights will matter, they will be top tiers like goofy

Imagine being a real life person that believes or even pretends to believe not just that Sakazuki will be the final villain but that that Sanji of all characters will beat someone on the same level as eos goofy’s final opponent

Could be both.

Depends on who Is the FV and who is the enemy for the OP. The fight with Akainu Is going to be after Raftel anyway.

I think Sabo will fight Akainu, too, but the problem with it is that Whitebeard with almost no haki two shot Akainu, he needs to get stronger for it
And the WB woke up from his brain damaged induced dream.

I legit feel like he still needs to defeat him. Marines can't be compared to pirates. Usually when a Luffy defeats a pirate, the pirate gets taken to impel down and is effectively removed from the chessboard. A marine will just go to the infirmary heal and be ready. So even if Akainu is Sabo's final opponent Luffy still can still defeat him and teach him a lesson.

Akainu being Sabo's opponent is an old, sorry cope from haters (even though with current standards Sabo is going to be PK level, so even that would be great for Akainu lol).

Anyway, since DR Oda has made crystal clear what Sabo's plot Is, so far as having him discovering Imu, becoming the posterboy of the Revs and seeing Uranus:

Luffy will have a brief fight like he had against Kizaru. Most likely longer than Kizaru's fight. Then imo sabo will take over. Or Luffy will beat him.

I find it hard to see akainu being main big boss of an arc. Imu wil be bigger boss.

Not even Oda know at this point.

I bet he told his assistants to check online forums for some good theories because he fucked up his manga by introducing those immortal demon jobbers.

At this point Im not confident in any future villain getting their own concentrated arc, at least not in the orthodox ways we generally have expected them to up through Kaido.

He has refused to resolve Kizaru, and isnt resolving Shamrock or Imu in Elbaph either. Given how many plotlines now tie to the Marines, its evident that Akainu's marines are going to fight the current Yonko. Ryokugyu has beef with Shanks. Sengoku/Tsuru/Koby/Sword all have beef with Blackbeard. Shanks and Blackbeard have beef with each other. Luffy has beef with Blackbeard and Akainu. Akainu has beef with Luffy and Kuzan.

Its an absolute clusterfuck, and thats the intent given everything we know the last 200 chapters. The only question is if the RA and WG will also be involved in this big fight geographically or not.

All i know is Im not expecting Akainu to go down in some isolated arc like he's Lucci or Katakuri. There is a clear intent now to have his Marines fight in a much larger war. Whether that solely against Luffy in the end or he gets to fight Shanks, Sabo or Dragon at different points is anyone's guess at this point.

Its all definitely happening together for the most part.
