Certainly I think white supremacy might be a factor in American Zionism. I think one of the reasons Evangelicals support Zionism is because the idea that European Jews are more legitimate owners of the land than Palestinians implicitly backs the centuries old depiction of Jesus as a white European.

Zionism aligns with the interest of white supremacy. It functions as part of a process of imperialist domination with white supremacist interests. In many cases zionism adopts the structure of white supremacy. Some jewish groups integrating the status of whiteness and the Palestinian (and marginalized groups) being racialized and positionned under domination.

Without white supremacy, zionism wouldn't be as strong or as prevalent today. The dehumanization is structural and comes from the same tree : colonialism, imperialism, white supremacy.

Palestine was chosen as the location for the Jewish homeland due to the spiritual connection Jews have to Eretz Yisrael via Judaism. Living in Eretz Yisrael is a mitzvah(commandment) in Judaism. It is literally the biblical promised land and Jews returning to it is seen as a sign that the moshiach is about to return.

Equating Zionism to white supremacy is reductive. It views the actions of Zionists solely from the perspective of European race science and ignores any of the actual motivations Zionists have.

And this guy has been relativizing and diminishing the critics of Israel and zionism for two years now.

But I will pass. I don't delve into researchers. I have my own experience of these researchers suffering from systematic distortion of interpretations and biasedness be it confirmation, allegiance, publication, selection or funding bias.

This doesn't mean true research doesn't exist but I prefer to see who's funding the research or from where they cited the sources or studies.
