You can facepalm all you want. At least I have hope and you only have your liberal thinking.
Humanity will just drop it's 12000 years old love for jewellery
You are confusing the love for pretty stones with our attachment with our need for class and social recognition.
well they are generalizing, which is why this is beyond retarded.
also what the fuck is an "adultist"?
Lmao, nah. This only means that you still don't understand yet.
Adultism is the system of domination of adults on children. This is one of the oldest domination systems on the planet. Pedophilia is a direct result of the intersection of adultism and patriarchy, children's exploitation lies in the intersection of adultism and capitalism etc.
Children are the most invisibilized and oppressed group of humans on the planet.
I get what it means but it sounds like a term a kid made up when their mom didn't let them play Minecraft on a school night lol
Until you learn about the epstein files or you learn what really happens to children within families.
I believe a few of you here know EXACTLY what I mean.
I get all that. My question is who is going to make the food, the clothes, the cars, etc... what happens to people who owns bakeries, restaurants, bars?
Me, you. You are probably thinking that there is no work here, and that only partially true. Work will still exist, but it will loses it's current meaning to take a new one.
Let me give you an exemple: when we do art we do it for multiple reason, because it's fun, because we have something to say and sometimes.. because we want to make a change. Well work will take precisely this last nature, sometimes even the others. We will not work to survive, but we will work because it will become a collective responsibility and the action of working will stop becoming the burden that it is today. Precisely because we will work in MUCH better conditions and we will work a LOT LESS.
When you live with people at home and participate in the making of the meal, do you feel like you are working ? Or do you feel like you are doing and participating in a collective work that is needed and rewarded through communal necessities ? This is how work will feel in the future. It will be a collective responsibility that will be socialy rewarderd and as such that will make us feel a lot better.
How do you transition to a capitalist society to a communist one and how long will it take?
Good question. To that I say, I don't know about the time. I only know about the how. There are two ways, either by creating a state and a dictature of proleteriat, which i'm not a fan of. Or to organize in the anarchic way from the bottom. Technically, it would only depends on the time it take for people to understand. It could take a few year or it could take a century.
The transition depends on the people. To give you a clue:
It would be as easy as this thread becoming radically leftist.
It could be looong and difficult and conflictual because people don't want to think beyond or to learn.. or it could be very easy and smooth and fast because people are willing to listen. We can't predict that.
Also who decides which kind of food will be prioritized? Everybody will eat the same thing?
So in your society, there'll be no jealousy, no envy, no violence?
The collectivity. Elected people with much more responsibilities that what you can see today. Anarchy is not the absence of order, it's only the absence of hierarchical power. In a socialist society (even in a communist one), you elect people and if they are not doing good enough you have the power to stop them. The power is to the people, only to them.
And no, everybody won't eat the same thing, there will be global kitchen but also school kitchen for everybody to learn to cook, . And there won't be envy or jalousy (at least not ours), there is no need for that in a society of abondance. Small little conflicts here and there perhaps, disagreements and discussion obviousely, but not the kind you can see today.
Food will be stop become a business model, which means you won't have the need for superproduction. Food will be a local tool for health and diversity. Meaning that you will not see the reserves shrink, you will see them diversify locally. In socialism, we will eat better, much better. With the best food, without weird products inside.. it will be tasty, it will be diverse, it will be healthy.
Look up how the soviet revolution pretty much wiped out thousands of years of Russian recipes
Inb4 but capitalism
Who here is defending unchecked capitalism? Not even Adam Smith advocated for that
Socialism only fails because of capitalism or capitalist interest and thinking. Often meritocratic ones.
The thing is the majority of people won't want to let go of their "priviledges". And that also goes for the people who advocate for change.
Indeed. The people who have a consequent enough material interest in capitalism will have a problem in making a change. That's a certainty, but these people are usually very very few.
We are the power.
