But also, didn't Oda say finding the OP will be the very last thing in OP, and there's no point to the story after that? Obviously BB will be in the running up until the end. I don't think he'll fall before Imu.

Just saying, the treasure of pirate island was Shakky, a person. I wont argue if Doflamingo is talking out his ass about Imu or an actual treasure, but I personally still dont think that was Teach's intent with Devon.

They didnt know Saturn would be in Egghead, which really just implies the common throughline between Vegapunk and Saturn was the Seraphim control (when the time comes). He was hidden on the Marine ship and it wasnt known to anyone he'd be there.

See her dialogue here. She's surprised he's around. If they are after Seraphim control, then taking his appearance makes things much easier than Vegapunk's given they have higher authority.
