Imu still haven't done anything crazy this chapter, people were exaggerating those feats too much,
Zoro getting Hit was his own Mistake, not Imu showing beyond Top Tier Feats,
Also, those Omen Attacks remind me of Indigo from Strong World Movie, so I doubt it's the work of Imu's DF,

We even have a New Bird to replace "Billy" (Bird who helped Luffy fight Shiki), and that's the Lightning Dragon Nidhoggr/Loki,
With Elbaph having a Laboratory, I'm pretty certain it means those Animals were Science Experiments during Nika's Time,
Which means there exist a drug that causes such Evolution, and that's similar to Chopper's Rumble Ball which is said that once ingested, the drug immediately "distorts the wavelength" of the user's Devil Fruit-enhanced biochemistry, creating a number of new abilities.
Proof that Imu is Enhanced by such Drug/Chemicals is the fact that in Strong World Movie, the Drug used on Merveille to evolve those Beasts also affected many citizens causing them to mutate as well & develop feathers on their bodies & ability to fly, which could explain how Ancient Giants were created, instead of feathers, that Drug made them slightly evolve & develop horns among other demonic features resembling Imu,
Lightning Bird Billy was also a Creation of Indigo, hinting that Nidhoggr was actually a Science Experiment as well before turning into a DF, which might also be the case for Ratatoskr, and such revelation might Hint that Mythical Zoans were originally Creatures evolved Scientifically in Elbaph, and Imu is doing it again as seen with Monsters under his Control such as Gorosei's & Cerberus ... etc

Indigo created that Drug using plants that only grow in Merveille, They are called "IQ" and just like name suggests They make Animals develop their Brains & also evolve depending on Environment (Which btw might also explain how all Races were created), and it's not coincidence that Elbaph is actually one giant Tree named "Adam", and when you think about it, what did Chopper gain from eating his DF? He developed a Human Brain which also eventually allowed him to evolve his Body in multiple ways, and it might also somehow explain why Chopper can counter Imu's Ability (at least Partially),
Not just that, but this IQ Plant is what protects Merveille People & Animals from Daft Green Toxicity, which They strongly avoid, hence why Shiki was surrounding his HQ with such Plants, and I think Oda re-purposed this Concept with Imu's Flower Room which is actually what protects him from outside world, hence why He shouldn't leave for too long, and it's also where the idea of Celestial Dragons Suits came from, as the air was considered toxic at some point,
I also wonder if Imu was once defeated by Joy & Boy & Davy Jones Team-Up, then He escaped & started his Plan to change entire World, similar to how Shiki was Defeated by Garp/Sengoku, then escaped Hell & started his Plan/Experiment to take over the World (It should also be noted that Shiki turned an Island into his DF-Empowered Ship, so that might be Imu's Plan for Elbaph, He wants it as his New Ship similar to when Krieg wanted Baratie
