Maybe for Sanji, why would Zoro need that after taking a small pea shot to the face? Granted he seemed unable to bounce back but Chopper should be enough to tend to him for the time being.

I'd say if you take the agenda out of it both of them didn't look horrible against Imu who's likely top 1 all time

We'll see how they scale to Loki/Luffy in a chapter or 2

That's what I'm curious about too if Loki is only all hax, it'll be lame but it'd be nice to see some reactions and what he can do I'd assume he goes hybrid next chapter.

Yeah I didn't realize they used AI to clean up the RAWs until now. That explain a lot of the art mistakes like Zoro having 2 open eyes lol

If that will happen, I will say Imu will be revived after BB death, and than he will be the Final Villain. Vivi is still not captured. Think by yourself. BB wouldn't be able to do anything what Imu did here. There's no way Oda will give that cheap victory on Imu to Luffy, by letting Imu used his haki right now, destroying everyone just to face BB.
Imu is not going to be defeated by Luffy before the Final Arc.

Xebec aimed to become the King of the world - a status which IMU holds.

BB aims to become the king of the world and Luffy desires freedom.

BB and Luffy are anti - thesis to each other.

History is repeating itself.

Luffy is Joyboy 2.0 and BB is Davy Jones 2.0

Blackbeard will take the throne. With IMUs df, he will buff all of his pirates.

Manga will end with buffed Blackbeard pirates vs SHs as climax.

Hybrid is almost guaranteed with the appearance of clouds and lightning

Is that the thing that's causing the almost "uncanny" look that some of the characters have?

The way I read it,

Zoro looks at Imu
Imu looks at Zoro

Zoro attacks Imu sees what he's about to do attacks with his tail, Zoro deflects it (hype) Imu responds (...)

But in turn is face to face with Imu which Zoro takes the fire attack point blank in the face, which Imu gives a powered up version of that to Hajrudin.

More confused about the naturr of the attack.

For me,
- Zoro strikes, Imu bring his tail in between.
- Creating a blind spot for his hand.
- Zoro deflects the tail away to see the hand right at his Face.
- Imu shoots 'omen' or 'demon will'.

But this attack was not used for anyone, Sanji and Hajrudin attack looks similar. Explosion + Haki + Maki.

Zoro one has no explosion, no haki, hell it isn't even visible to us as a reader.
We atleast saw when Imu cut the leg of the giant, moment is visible.
This attack, one moment fire on his hand, other panel it hit zoro.

Idk about best villain Oda has ever created, but the last time people were getting maimed like this was Akainu in Marineford, haven't felt tension like this since. I'm fully invested in these chapters. He's making me read One Piece chapters again.

Hopefully he catches an actual body or two to really get that feeling of dread.

Nope, because you cannot became King for just one day-month. This doesn't sound legit at all. Luffy is Liberator. Teach is also D, who bring chaotic Freedom! Imu is King of Slavery and Order who inslaved world for 800 years. Only Luffy has to be the one who will free the world from 800 years of Imu's Reign. Othervise none of the readers would be satisfied. It's the same if Sasuke killed Pain and defeated him instead of Naruto.

Just watch how, in the next chapter, Loki will be sent flying at the beginning, but he will take his dragon form tho. So that would be something more than one shot.
