This point depends on how this arc will end.
No it does not. The current moment, scratch that, the current CHAPTERS we are in are literally historical in the paradigm of One Piece. ot only are they amazing, but they are the payoff of 27 years of build-up including Imu.
You guyz need to chill, really. This current moment in the story is absolutely incredible. And I'm talking here on an objective basis, just looking coldly on the narration and the what is happening.
Look if Luffy will be able to stand against Imu, the whole story will lose it's sence. Because Luffy is weaker than Shanks, for example.
Who told you that?
I know who > Your headcanons.
And even if it were true, this is not an excuse, Luffy is supposed to be able to take Imu. Will he manage that? Probably not, he is scared and Imu is too strong at the moment. He will lose the first round. But he will come back.
So to deal with the Final Villain, you need to call Shanks, and everything will be solved. The whole journey loses its tension.
I see words, and I don't see any logic.
1. We don't know if Imu is the final villain.
2. Imu has a time limit, he will be soon gone, he is here to takeover Loki, not wreck Luffy.
3. Shanks arriving would not be making the story lose tension it would SAVE the crew. We are already in a point of high tension. We need Shanks right now, it's not an option.
The gang needs help right now or everyone will suffer!
You need to read and understand the stakes:
- The freaking King of the world is unleashing his power without any resistance aside from Loki
- Imu has the power to takeover anyone if he needs to aside from Luffy and Loki
- There are 2, potentially 3 powered up holy knights that are about to wreck the place.
- There is no Zoro
- There is no Sanji
- There is no Usopp
- There is no Brook
- Gaban can't move
- There are only injured Giants, Jinbe, Franky, Chopper and Nami
- Imu is wreaking Loki
- Loki is almost down
- Luffy is scared
This is not an average crisis here. We are in a potential Sabaody configuration without Kuma to help us get out.
