Now to root for Congo, Sweden, and Côte d’Ivoire to win their matches tonight. :CoolPeace:

No, getting eliminated in the first game of second phase for a nobody and not even reaching the eight finals is embarrassing for a team with reputation as Germany, same goes for Netherlands.

Uruguay and Germany are the biggest laughing stocks in this WC so far
Uruguay, yes. Germany, no way. They treated Curacao like they treated Brazil, after all.

That aside, teams like Uruguay, Germany, and the Netherlands getting dunked this early just means the sport is more competitive than it has ever been. That doesn't mean Uruguay, Germany, and the Netherlands aren't great, because they are.

You are part of the political chaos dude. You are the problem. Not the ones cheering for Brazil.
Why do you speak as if you weren't part of the problem too?
I never said I wasn't. The point is that collective self awareness is crucial for resolving a problem that is also collective, and "bread and circuses" mechanisms only distance us from that capacity for self awareness, booth as individuals and as part of the collective.

Not the right place to talk about it

We Italy are in a shit situation but Germany is not in a better position than us and I think Germany has a good team, why this bad performances in the last World Cups?
A lot to say on that but in short, the quality of the squad isn't that good anymore and another thing imo is that the DFB (German football association) is like an old boys network and clique who are glued to their seats and do the same thing. They rather choose an average German coach instead of bringing in someone like Guardiola or Ancelotti because they are actually scared that a coach like that would expose all the frauds inside the DFB and shake up things.

Not the right place to talk about it
This is about the World Cup, about the political effects of the tournament, but also about the World Cup itself. Or are you going to tell me it doesn't bother you that the French national team is composed almost entirely of naturalized players of African origin, while the fans are all native-born French people?
The World Cup is a showcase for First World nations and serves as "bread and circuses" for the West. That is why China is growing by leaps and bounds, because it refuses to be part of this mediocrity.
It is a shame, really, because football is a rich sport, but it has been industrialized and turned into a mere tool for social engineering.

I didn't like Neymar's behavior at all, but he deserves a fitting finale to his footballi story.
Not necessarily winning the World Cup, but something that goes down in history like for instance, Baggio's missed penalty in the final. It would be a shame if his only legacy will be dribbles, injuries, and parties.
Neymar the glass leg is a bum he shouldn't have been there at all

I'm not the problem you are. The fact someone else has to point it out this isn't the place to talk about that just proves my point.
