You guys' thoughts about this particular moment? It seems like Sanji was temporarily koed for real and despite his RS saving his life, he seems pretty beaten up.
King just used his beak, no fire techniques, no hybrid form attack and no sword and he still wrecked Sanji like that. Imo it's a very impressive feat which is definitely comparable to Katakuri knocking Ichiji out.
I think her killing the straw hats' loved ones if she wasn't in Wano might have a bit to do with why she's in Wano now. Else people would be asking stuff like "Why is she not killing Zeff? Why is she not destroying Fishman Island?" you know, because she would do that if she was still on WCI. Now Oda can excuse the lack of this massacre with "Big Mom and a part of her crew are preoccupied and while they are, Katakuri and Pudding prevent that from occuring because they're friends of the straw hats."
Because oda didn't switch to sanji and king untill the end of the chapter. We never see sanji conciounus if he was out then oda would have drawn it just like ulti and zoro getting knocked out. Instead we see king arrive to queen seconds before sanji got back up which means king left and sanji instantly got up
Once again, Sanji was wondering about Momo after Franky defeated a number. The numbers appeared after King crashed Sanji into a building.
Since you mention that Sanji only tried protecting Momo, said dude only wondered about Momo health after a few minutes? What was he doing meanwhile when Franky took one number out?
Exactly this means that. King temporarily took Sanji out just like Yamato and Ulti.

Actually things happened in like a minute if not less!
- Franky shoots his beam at the number, you will notice that that Number was shown blown away in 3 different locations
1- In franky's location
2- He was showb blown away in Sanji's location
3- He was shown blown away in Luffy/Zoro location
It was just Oda's way to say "everything is happening at same time" and shit at chaotic

just show the panel of sanji being unconcious because all we see is sanji getting up instantly after the attack last week seconds after king is shown to arrive above queen who is right next to him.
If he was unconcious oda would draw it. Instead he used this moment to show sanji tanked the atack and how durable the raid suit is.

Important note:
Now that Sanji has gone back to his base form, and his STEALTH accomplished it's job of saving Momo!
I expect that we will see him use Raid Suit ONLY after he reaches his limit in base form
Meaning, it is very likely that Oda might intend to make it obvious for us as to how to scale him in (base form/RS form)
So he is likely to start his main arc fight in base form, and we get to see the maximum level in his base form, and THEN, he uses RS to actually go all out!
Him getting back to base form makes me feel like Oda intends to show us the extent of his powers in both forms

He was just lying there and then started to wonder whether Momo escaped or not. Apparently Sanji was just lying there for no reason whilst other strawhats are struggling with their enemies.
Once again, the numbers weren't even there when Sanji was crashed into that building. Franky defeating that one number and Sanji getting up happened simultaneously tho.
Except Oda drew this. He doesn't have to draw full panels of white eyed faces, you know?

Since the anime opening has some spoilers for even manga readers
This week we got the strawhats facing off and gathering against King / queen / Big mom like the opening showed
Next week we will see Sanji Luffy and Zoro running towards the top and helping luffy get to kaido
The opening even showed big mom swinging a sword at the monster trio i wonder if they will fight big mom off first
Also King and Queen were shown just right before zoro and sanji cut in the opening so that match up is obvious

Even if I love Sanji performance and didn´t see it as L, he was probably knocked out for shorttime similar as Ulti was against Yamato.

and what was king doing why did he just stand there and watch sanji if sanji was unconcious and king promised to split sanji in two? King left to stop luffy and zoro which means king didn't have enough time to finish off sanji if he was unconcious king could have easily done this so like you said if minutes passed and sanji was KO'd why did king not do what he promised to do? Thats because only seconds have passed and Sanji got up instantly
