At the end of the day this is a simple question to me. It all comes down to is Saint Shanks stronger than prime Gaban? Answer: Maybe?

So is Saint Shanks stronger than prime Roger or prime Whitebeard? Answer: Surely not

Prime Roger and Whitebeard get low diffed by fruitless Loki, so Saint Shanks gets beaten even worse by fruitless Loki. It is really that simple, the exact power level of 25 year old Saint Shanks is meaningless, current Saint Shanks is getting dog walked by base Harald who Loki is several tiers stronger than.

Atleast luffy put up a fight and able to land a hit before the stab and he is not done yet. There should be some twist in this Genie mode.

Once again, you are confused.
Zoro wasnt tailed, he was shot.
While Zoro got a single clash, Luffy got a full fight.
And was clapped in less than a chapter and got called weak while fully energized. This is like Shanks checking if Midd is at full power before trrlashing him...
