Controversial Shanks-Loki-Mihawk contradicted arguments

#23
We also know Shanks has CoO killer ability that has nothing to do with swordsmanship, which is another technique that proves Shanks can't be limited by swordsmanship and WGS
Do you really wanna go down into that rabbithole AGAIN?
Top tier swordsmen are hakimen but stronger. They use stubborn objects which they channel their haki through. ANY haki feat can legitimately be used by a swordsman since haki is a universal power source, accessible by anyone. CoC also belongs to that power source. Technically anyone can be born with it, but in the end only a few individuals are.

Mihawk > Shanks > Loki

There's nothing wrong with that statement. The first half of it has been validated by the author himself over and over and over again for nearly 3 fucking decades at this point. Live with it man.

I mean, if Shanks cheated it is what it is, he did what he had to do to win.

While honour in piracy does exist, like the davy back being used by Xebec to amass his crew, a straight up battle with nothing decided beforehand doesn't need to have any.

At the end of the day Loki could go full zoan and launch what might as well be called a ki blast and destroy shanks's ship and most of his crew.

If shanks is indeed willing to use "underhanded" tactics to achieve his goals, then you can say he'd be willing to do that against Blackbeard too.

People say Shanks cheated and didn't fight fair against Loki. Though Gaban clearly said "Shanks" did that, not "Red hair pirates" as whole, then Gaban either didn't explain it well, or Shanks alone caught Loki offguard which would be still a great feat considering Loki's durability.

That's the argument that people use against Shanks.

However, some people who says this, also say that Shanks is a swordsman and he doesn't fight dirty. That we see all of Shanks's abilities, he should fight without cheating, only by using sword.

I believe Shanks can fight dirty, which aligns with what Shanks said before;

Shanks: "We're pirates! We don't play by the rules!"

Zolo: "I get it, you're just a blood thirsty brute!"
Alber: "I've never understood why anyone would stick to traditional forms and techniques in a real battle."
Zolo: "I guess you have a point, you never claimed to be a swordsman after all."

Which means Shanks isn't just a swordsman, he won't be limited with being a swordsman because he can fight dirty as some people say about the Loki fight, thus he isn't limited with the WGS title.

We also know Shanks has CoO killer ability that has nothing to do with swordsmanship, which is another technique that proves Shanks can't be limited by swordsmanship and WGS. :BigW:
:milaugh: still coping because of Mihawk.

Mihawk > Shanks > Loki
What you think about this my son flip flopping former Kaido fanboy @Loki D. Terror ?

Playing dirty isn't a fighting style lol you can be a swordsman fighting dirty and still remain a swordsman i.e weaker than Mihawk
I didn't say it's a fighting style, did I? I said if he has dirty fighting mentality, why should he stick to the traditional forms in a "real battle"? He can easily use other techniques other than swordsmanship, he has different mentality than Mihawk's or Zolo's.

"Shanks isn't a swordsman" cope in 2026 is insane work icl
Try again, Shanks is a swordsman same way Imu, Roger, Xebec, Big mom, Law are swordsmen. It's a fighting style that he uses but isn't limited with that unlike Zolo or Mihawk.

:milaugh: still coping because of Mihawk.
When did I say Mihawk is a "irrelevant background character"? You said this about Gaban more than once. :vistalaugh:

Background reaction character it seems.
Buggy and Shanks seem more relevant. Crocus too.
Background irrelevant character level.

Yeah he probably does but it doesn't matter if he is a swordsman.

Let me ask you this: Do you have Mihawk above Fujitora/Law? They use very dirty techniques like meteor, gravity and whatever crazy bs Law has with his 5b DF. If your claim is that WSS only pertains to pure swordsmanship and doesn't include stuff outside of it then Law/Fuji both have many techniques outside of swordsmanship so on what basis are you scaling Mihawk above them? Because outside of black blade (which I know you don't respect as a feat so I'll leave that out of the discussion for now), Law/Fuji wipe Mihawk in terms of feats. So why is Mihawk stronger?

Just to be clear; I know you have Shanks far above Fuji and Law so no I am not tryna equate them 3. But what does Shanks have that definitively puts him above Mihawk that Fuji and Law don't?

Boy, we arent talking about Gaban.
We are talking about you coping for nearly 2 decades and all of that due to the same source - Mihawk's supremacy.
Dummy, I talk about Shanks-Loki-Mihawk, not only about Mihawk. If I was coping I would say Mihawk is a background irrelevant character like you said about Gaban. :suresure:

Yeah he probably does but it doesn't matter if he is a swordsman.
It does matter because there is no difference saying that Mihawk > Imu just because Imu used a sword in a battle. Are you arguing that you can use 1 technique outside of swordsmanship you would be still a swordsman, but if you use 3 or more non-swordsmanship techniques then you wouldn't be a swordsman? There are no limits like that. Swordsman only uses sword techniques, even if he uses 1 technique outside of swordsmanship that makes him more than just a swordsman.

I gave this example before; 2 marksmen competing to decide who is the better marksman, they were equal in marksman techniques in almost every range, then suddenly, one of the marksman uses a martial art technique to beat his opponent, that doesn't make him a better marksman, that just makes him more powerful overall, same logic with 2 swordsmen competing, if Shanks uses 1 technique that's not related to swordsmanship (martial art or CoO killer) and won the fight vs another swordsman, that doesn't make him a better swordsman, that just makes him more powerful overall as a killing machine.

Mihawk isn't above Fujitora.
Against Awakened Law, not sure, he could be, but Law would give a lot of damages to Mihawk before losing even if Mihawk is above him, remember that Mihawk is equal partners with Crocodile right now, for sure Awakened Law > Crocodile.

Bruh. Ok I'll admit at least your logic is consistent. Fair enough

Idk what to tell you if you think Law vs Mihawk is debatable. Or fuji for that matter. Future feats will definitely be very kind to Mihawk

We're just gonna end up discussing the same thing we've discussed in other threads multiple times over and I don't wanna end up beating the same dead horse. Let's just agree to disagree on this Shanks vs Mihawk thing till any new info pops up

Part of me does hope I'm wrong. Having a bum like Mihawk over shanks is painful as a shanks fan but I don't see Oda reversing it. Hopefully he does prove you right on this topic

Oda doesn't give af about anyone we see this how much ZKKfans wanted ZKK to happen Oda didn't make it, he can make Mihawk struggling vs a Vista tier opponent again, and people can't do anything about it.

The only thing is certain that Mihawk will be surpassed by Luffy's underling Zolo, and potentially Teach's underling Shiryu can be above Mihawk as well.

What you think about the Zolo vs Mihawk, and Zolo vs Shiryu battles? What diff Zolo will need for each fights?

Limited like Lhanks is a DF, lunirian, God. We literally seen Shanks in life or death situation when he literally got bodied. All he did was put haki on his sword and cut

#37
Do you think Shanks beat Loki fair and square?
Idk what i do know is 25 YEAR OLD Lhanks had a life or death situation vs Harold used Haki on sword and did Zoro poses. Got literally bodied by Harold then Loki came and save him. Unless you saying 25 year old Lhanks changed his fighting style since then. Which I highly doubt since the last strong person he beat he just put haki on his sword and cut.

Idk what happened in the Loki situation. He got of beaten him fair and square or got him.drunk and put seastone on him because he didn't really want to fight him just to wait till its time. Also why was 25 year old shanks just doing zoro poses with haki on his sword??? I thought he was a DF lunirian god?

Perhaps he used CoO killer ability which has nothing to do with swordsmanship?
