Trying to confirm which fandoms are wishing for what type of performance from Gaban, what type of performance will help which agenda.
Luffy - Bad performance (makes G5 look bad)
Zoro - Good performance (brings Luffy and Loki hype down, upscales Sommers)
Sanji - Good performance (parallel upscale)
Yonko - Good performance (brings Loki hype down, reinforces established power hierarchy)
Admirals - Bad performance (upscale Loki, make Yonkos look bad)

Is that the correct summary or would the fandoms want to change the above?

Quite some hype waves were ridden in Elbaf so Gaban has the power to bring them all crashing down.

Old ray aka gaban's equal already admitted he can't beat current BB. So if old gaban performs very good , it will make him stronger than old ray which makes no sense based on portrayal.

It basically depends on how consistent oda is with powerscaling.

Gaban good perfomance hypes up Loki and the Admirals anyway.

- Gaban (far younger) + Shanks couldn't stop Harald at all, while Loki did;

- Kizaru fought ages ago with Ray (> Gaban) sword against sword and had him huffing and sweating from the get go.

But tbh basically anyone can use both Gaban doing bad and Gaban doing good.
Only Luffy's fandom is in a very bad spot and can only hope that Gaban gets destroyed in no time.

How idiotic, a much stronger young-ish Gaban was already used as a hype tool for Loki’s hype tool. Gaban didn’t even see Loki’s form LMFAO, he was most likely knocked out. Loki came out of that fight without a scratch.

Anyways, Gaban will not do anything impressive. Unlike the readers, Oda has been consistent in powerscaling. He expressed how much above Loki really is compared to yonkos like Luffy, and showed it in their performance.

He will not outperform even a nerfed base Loki, Gaban‘s the first guy who was hyping this dude up lol.

Good point. It would kinda make Imu look weak tho. I doubt Gaban will last one chapter, but what happens after Gabans defeat is a headscratcher for me.

I think you're mixing up Old Gen and Yonko fandoms.
A solid performance from Gaban would only upscale Roger and his peers(WB and Garp). If anything, Yonko like Kaido and BM only get downscaled here.

Not at all. Gaban upscale is Rayleigh upscale which is Kizaru/C3 upscale and also probably FujiBull upscale too, so Admiral fans would want a good performance.

ANY good geezer showing is a vindication of Admirals because for many years they've been the opponents of choice for old gen which has resulted in unwarranted slander.

Loki has nothing to fear anyways, a younger prime-ish Gaban already got clobbered by HK Harald who Loki managed to defeat.

I think Yonko would also be hoping for a bad performance if anything. Yonko until EH were safe from having to deal with old gen fighters which led to many assuming that they'd beat them easily. Imu not easily beating Gaban would greatly put into question the ability of Yonko to overwhelm him too.
