It's as if Piccolo managed to draw a little blood from Perfect Cell before losing an arm and being defeated. Legendary compared to 99 % of the verse but insignificant compared to the true big boys.
What I'm more interested in is finding out what exactly Gaban knows about The World, what Joy Boy said/wrote that the Roger Pirates refused/couldn't follow blindly, The 4th Road Poneglyph, Mystery of Biblo and who exactly the Man with Burn Scars is.
I would also pay money to see Gaban lecture Franky, Robin, Usopp and the rest. Luffy is careless/arrogant/nonchalant, Zoro is unaware/stupid, Sanji is an Emo/Self doubting twerp. But the rest of the so called Yonko/Future PK Crew not even having basic haki while WCI and Amazon Lily was full of users. The only great haki user Jinbei also needs to lay off the humble act and start acting like a bloody Shichibukai, he is supposed to be equal to Doffy and Hancock who themselves are CoC-users.

He’s very immature lol and is still yet to really understand what it means and takes to be PK. Still playing pirate games lol
It’s cuul & all to want to be the most free one seas but in order to do so you need to get past Imu and the WG and for that you need to be filthy strong to do so and I think Gaban’s strength is testament to that.
Luffy’s still refusing to accept the reality that he’s still weak and salty that Gaban roasted him lol.

I genuinely wanna read where Gaban said he didn't go to wano for 1vs1 kaido.
Send it to me please, he literally could have never thought about wano in decades, then heard about kaido defeat, remembered wano and thought oh i'd love to go there. Even if he had this idea before, which is fucking unconfirmed, HE WOULD FIND A FUCKING ENEMY TERRITORY, ARMY, CREW, WEAPONS.

It's a bitter pill to swallow after what happened at MF and Luffy rising in strength to beat Kaido but still failing miserably against IMU.
It's like Gaban is telling him that his childish and carefree attitude can cost lives and Luffy's reaction is more defensive which is often how many people react in such situations due to pride getting hurt and humiliation.
Gear 5 Luffy is faster than Kaido but hits less hard.
Yeah, Kaido and Luffy were near the same HP when Guernica interfered, then Gear 5 buffed Luffy back to around the HP he had before Guernica.
The big issue is the cooldowns.
If Luffy could just fight in Gear 5 for hours, he beats Kaido in a clean 1v1 with both healthy at the start.
Gear 5 is strong as hell, it really is the cooldowns. Like I said in another post, even if he just went back to Base, he'd be fine, but turning into a sea slug for five minutes every time he goes out of Gear 5 just makes it non-viable for serious 1v1s.
The other problem is Haki. It's clear from Egghead/Elbaph that Joy Boy's Haki >>>>>> Luffy's Haki.
Gear 5 is a crutch, Luffy needs to get his Haki up and physical stamina up in general.
Imu is ruining Luffy because Joy Boy wasn't as reliant on his Fruit, his Haki was on another level, and I imagine Joy Boy was just much stronger than Luffy at his prime, as well, since Luffy is 19.
There's always the Shinobu option, though... he could get aged up like Momo.
Until Luffy fixes his cooldowns, he'll always be the weakest Yonkou, to me (besides Buggy, my beloved fraud).
