Oda wrote himself into a corner with Haki.
Observation haki essentially became useless once everyone had access to it, so he had to create a new observation haki called future sight, which is practically the exact same thing as what observation haki was when it was introduced. It is increasingly becoming useless because every top tier opponent has it.
Armament haki is in a similar situation, he seemed to write advanced armament as a way to defeat Kaido and hasn't been of great value since. Armament boils down to 'if I am stronger in every other way, then my armament beats your armament'. So what the hell is the point if they were always going to be stronger anyway?
Armament/Observation haki is essentially a pointless power system whose only legitimate use in a high tier fight is to defeat logias which no one worth beating really is anymore.
Conquerors is sort of similar, you can use it to one shot fodder... big deal. Doesn't work on basically anyone in the new world. Looks like it's getting a power up currently so we'll see. Ranged lightning bolts seem like they could be good.
Side Note: Nen is overrated bullshit, a complex explanation does not mean something is good. It was bullshit from the moment a second rate fighter like Kurapika could defeat a spider because he had 'conditions'. Gon randomly powering up with friendship and then got his powers back through a wish. GTFO.

Observation works identical to a pro boxer beating an amateur because he can predict his movements. It's pointless to give an extra ability on top of what Luffy was already doing. The reader is supposed to just imagine he is using observation 90% of the time because it isn't practical to draw.

Since you dislike/don't understand/snob the power systems of DB, Naruto, JJK, HxH:
FMA, JoJo, World Trigger, Choujin X, Fire Force, (pre Re:) Tokyo Ghoul, to some extent even Magi,
all have better power systems than what haki has devolved into.

Not only does this P.S. allow for fighting abilities, but it lets you understand what type of person one is from the limits they went to in order to "evolve". This is a storytelling P.S. more rounded than will power alone.
Anyone can control fire--that's the universal accessibilities you keep spamming about. Different generations control it differently. Training lets you control more and shape it. From there on, it's standard, visually-clear (unlike haki) shonen progression.
